  1. And today I ordered up 700$ worth of replacement oem goodies and some aftermarket stuff for the MJ. WOOT! RockMJ
  2. Pics as requested. These arent the finalized versions yet but they are getting to where I'm happy with them RockMJ
  3. I know this all to well. When I swapped in a V8 drivetrain from a late 96 ZJ into my early 97 ZJ it was a nightmare. I will take a look and post up pics for clarity! Thanks a ton RockMJ
  4. Hey guys, I did a few searches for the info I'm looking for to no avail. Most of the guys on here swap out the current their gauge clusters for ones with tachometers, however, I am not doing this. I'm keeping the cluster I have but I'm adding an aftermarket tachometer into the setup. Question is, what is the wire color in the cluster that I can tap the new tachometer into to make it work? I read a few posts for earlier years (mines an 88 4.0) saying its a white wire with a green tracer. I looked through the manual I have without luck so any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone, RockMJ
  5. 10-4 Thanks guys! RockMJ
  6. Designed a custom gauge overlay for the MJ. Just need to get them printed and laminated! Love custom work and if anyone is interested let me know RockMJ
  7. So if I plug them into each other can I leave it like that and bypass the intermittent wipers for the time being? I'm assuming that I can but just would like to know ahead of time RockMJ
  8. Alright thanks for the input! Are these the same for XJ's as well? RockMJ
  9. Hey guys, I just replaced my 5 amp wiper relay circuit fuse and the wipers now work! However, I have no intermittent wipers or low speed, only high. Also, my wipers when I turn them off won't return to the bottom of the windshield they just stay wherever they were. I know this isnt normal so is there a relay that may be bad or is it the wiper motor? Thanks RockMJ
  10. Looks incredible man! What did you use for the tail light enclosures? Awesome work RockMJ
  11. Hey guys, I know there are some members from FL on here so ill put this out there and see if anyone bites. I am looking to pick up a dana 44 rear for my MJ so if you have one let me know! Gear ratio doesnt really matter but as long as it is a complete, or nearly complete axle ill be happy. Thanks RockMJ
  12. Regardless of the problem, I still call that a win in my book. Its one nice looking rig man. You did a damn good job RockMJ
  13. Best mod so far! RockMJ

  16. Was the dealership confused when you told them your Jeep Comanche's airbag light was on haha? Did you put the decals on the tailgate? I'm curious about the quality and finish of them RockMJ
  17. Oh and I forgot to mention, I added newer style hood lettering to replace my missing stuff. Looks good! RockMJ
  18. Tore the front clip apart to clean, refinish, and undercoat everything. Also installed a top of the line CC decal :D RockMJ
  19. Excellent, thats the answer I was looking for. As long as the brackets are the same I should be good to go. Now the question is should I get the seats or lift it and get my tires under it. Ahh decisions. Thanks guys RockMJ
  20. I have a manual so that may make it a bit easier on me? A little custom work doesnt scare me but I would like to know what I'm in for before I dive in. Thanks guys RockMJ
  21. Rob, there was a crowd shift about a year ago and when that happened I spent less time on there. A lot of us old time members have moved on to other vehicles and I for one have had several Jeeps since my last ZJ RockMJ
  22. Yeah I know the XJ ones will work but ive had some ideas regarding the TJ ones specifically. Curious if anyone has done it before, aftermarket or oem. Thanks RockMJ
  23. Oh and I forgot to mention that I am almost done refinishing the front end. Its in a sad state right now... RockMJ
  24. Sat one of my new tires and wheels against the MJ to see what it will look like. here's a pic :D RockMJ
