I also refinished my rear slider window. Sealed it, sanded, and painted it. Looks great! RockMJ

This should be shouted from the edge of a cliff like in some dramatic ancient war movie lol. Today I got a bit done with doing some paint work and trimming the fenders for the Bushwackers RockMJ
-
Looks awesome man! I did the tint on the tail lights as well but I left the reverse lights unpainted ;). I cannot wait to get mine repainted now! RockMJ

I did the same thing :D couldn't find any tube steel tall enough so I used bars and angle. By the way, good score on the seats -- I've got the same ones and they're super comfortable. Dude, awesome pictures! I just bought a set of MJ sliders off of a member on here so I will just be adding some flat steel to the bucket brackets and drilling some holes to mount it all. Should work beautifully and yes, those XJ seats are super comfortable! I plan on getting some Wet Okle seat covers soon for them to match the interior :D. Donkey, thanks again dude! RockMJ

I am actually about to buy the seat brackets off of a member on here to get the seats mounted :D. Thanks again for everything dude, and if you need a hand with the Jeeps let me know! I could use some wrenching time haha RockMJ

That Dodge is sexy man! If you need a hand let me know! I am down for turning a few wrenches and I'm probably not that far from you either RockMJ

Did some undercoating and I finalized my list of necessary materials to prep, prime, and paint the MJ metallic silver! RockMJ

Kind of defeats the purpose doesnt it? I got the bumper from a guy on CL's. Brand new ARB bumper for next to nothing. Big time score in my book RockMJ

Josh from PA but I currently reside in New Port Richey, FL. Ive got an 88 MJ which makes my 14th Jeep that ive owned. Here I am in all my glory and infinite sexiness lmao, me and my wife at our wedding in NC with my 04 "Scrambler", and my current MJ project :D Married on the beach and we drove back to our rental house with the top and doors off Banner to let the ladies know I'm taken :rotf: And the MJ this weekend RockMJ, aka, RockZJ, aka Josh

haha! Well I just met Donkey on Saturday to pick up a set of bucket seats and were all in relative proximity to one another so I'm thinking we probably should get together and have a wrench fest. I need to go to LKQ one of these years  RockMJ

Np man, I spent all weekend doing Jeep related stuff so no worries. Any events coming up in the next few months I should keep an eye on? RockMJ
-
Donkey, Thanks again man for everything! Great meeting you and I hope I get to wrench on the buggy with ya :D RockMJ

I removed the fender flares in anticipation of paint and body work as well trimming for the Bushwackers. I also gave the MJ a bath today after putting the ARB on RockMJ

Just quoting your site my man "The base models are easy to spot, with the bare outside, having no decals, or badges to say it is anything else". Assuming this is talking about general badging but thats how I read it. I'm probably wrong though :D RockMJ
-
Nope, the title doesnt even say Comanche on it. But going off of the color and remaining stripe color/scheme its a safe bet to say its a Pioneer. Plus the base models didnt have the Comanche badging on the fenders from what ive read RockMJ
-
Yup, thats pretty much the same exact color and striping. I at least know its a Pioneer now! Woot! RockMJ

Any idea if a set of MJ bucket seat brackets will bolt up to these seats? That is really the biggest concern I have because the brackets are mine when I get the cash together but if the seats won't bolt to them then I guess I'm back to where I started. No seats lol RockMJ

Looks like a great time. I would have to second the bumper looking like a Logan's unit but its definitely home built I would say. I wish mine was together so I could have made this but I at least got some work done on her this weekend RockMJ

Its funny you post that because I was on your site the other night not knowing it was yours lol. Well if you ever want help updating it I do web design as a side hobby as well as graphic design. I'm always looking to help out the community any way I can. Thanks again and ill get those pics up this weekend! RockMJ

I'm guessing the results are yet to be seen but man it would be amazing to see updated pictures of it. I just don't understand really why he said he would then never did, even a few years later. Meh, sucks big time! RockMJ
-
I have not? Would be interested in doing so though! RockMJ
-
I just scored a set of MJ bucket seat brackets from a guy on here but thank you! Do you have pictures of the seats your talking about? Condition of them? Thanks RockMJ

I will take some this weekend when its a bit more light out. There isnt much of the striping left but enough that I noticed it. I did some searching and it seems like it was a Pioneer based on pictures of other Jeep's from the year. It makes me happy if it is so I have another direction I can go for the restoration RockMJ
