  1. Well I didn't really expect pics here for a bumper. 8)
  2. What about switching to a ZJ or WJ one that had disc brakes? Right now I just don't have the extra money for an adjustable one. 8)
  3. What my original question was is how rear disc brakes will handle with the factory proportioning valve. Is it ok to leave it or not? 8)
  4. Yeah I know that last post was off topic, but back on this topic I got 2 more posts in. :D 8)
  5. :needpics: 8)
  6. :rotf: :rotf:  8)
  7. Yeah I was kinda wondering about that. 8)
  8. Well for starters you are using 15.50's and not the regular 12.50's. How wide of a wheel are you using? Also, whats theback spacing on the wheels? 8)
  9. I was told by a guy on another board that you can't use the factory LCA hole because it pushes the front too far forward and causes a bind in the steering. I'm going to be doing this too soon, so let me know if you have any problems. Oh, and that is one sweet rig btw. :D 8)
  10. I'm getting there slowly. 8)
  11. Is this a kit or something they already have made up? I'd love to run headers, but I don't have the cash for custom built ones and I don't know of any others that'll fit. Guess I just need to save up for custom ones. 8)
  12. Count me in as well! 8)
  13. Spoken like a true Jeeper. 8)
  14. I'd just do a bastard lift like he said. As far as the dana 35 being weak, I've heard alot of stories about people breaking them. My last Comanche was a 4.0 5 speed but it only had 32's on it. It saw lot of air time and even 4 foot under the tires one time. I never had any problems with it, but I never opened it up either. I'd put an 8.8 under the rear if it was mine. Some of the guys on here can tell you better about what to look for and what not to in an 8.8. I went crazy with mine and I'm putting full widths under it. Just build it like you want, what you don't know you'll learn. 8)
  15. If he's a real Jeeper he'll take it as a lesson learned and come back. If not then well, I guess he doesn't. 8)
  16. Don't feel bad, I thought it said never-sneeze at first too. 8)
  17. Not trying to bust your bubble, but don't count on running headers. It gets awfully tight with a V8 in there. 8)
  18. Glad to hear you and the truck came out alright. That reminds me of a time when I was 16 and still lived in Indy. I was driving a 78 Chevy 3/4 ton 4wd thru downtown on the interstate on a Friday about 5 pm. I wasn't flying, just cruising around 60 or so. I looked ahead and saw traffic in front of me was stopped due to rush hour. I hit the brakes and had none still running 60. I never hit a car, but I scraped a few guard rails and took out a few marker posts. That's one day I'll never forget. 8)
  19. I like poly's better than rubber, but a friend of mine had some poly's that just crumbled for some reason. It almost made me wanna go back to rubber, but I haven't had any bad luck with them myself. 8)
  20. A waste of time? Us poor people have to do with what we have. I don't mind tearing something apart and cleaning it instead of buying new, saves money that way. 8)
  21. I was thinking they were different, but I didn't wanna speak up cuz I didn't know for sure. Now you know. :D 8)
  22. Wow, this is the most action I've seen on this board since I joined! 8)
  23. I know I'd be pissed too. :headpop: 8)
  24. That's what I want to do, but being unemployed sucks. Makes very little funds to work with. 8)
  25. lol No problem, I was just curious. I need to find a way to mount my shocks at the bottom too. I thought about welding a bolt to the side of the box steel spring perch. I need to figure it out kinda quick, it's gotta be moved soon and it'd be alot easier with back tires on it. 8)
