Blue88Comanche Pioneer 4X4
Blue88Comanche replied to Blue88Comanche's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Decided to touch up the front of my Comanche Saturday. I repainted the headlight trim and the metal headlight retainer strap thing, with Plasti Dip (I am starting to really love that stuff) here are a few pics! I also found my A/C leak, it was the Pressure switch. I also tested the system to make sure it did not have any other issues and it seems to be running fine otherwise. one up coming weekend i am going to replace the drier and pressure switch, then find someone to put a vacuum on it. -

I must have been writing my reply the same time as you.. I knew there was a pressure difference but not a capacticy difference

So 2 1/4 lbs or 3 12oz is what i found. I also found the leak, its the pressure switch. That also explains why I never could get the system to start. I also Jumped the connector to test the system is seems to be working thus far. but i have a HUGE leak.

I need to look up the capacities for the r134a but the guy that was with me was saying usually 18oz is should get it going

I had a guy at work try to find the AC coolant leak on my Jeep today, we put 1 1/2 cans of coolant and the compressor would not kick on. so i touched it to the battery and it still works. we let is cycle some then i hooked it back up properly and it still would not work. we had pressure. I swapped all the relays around with my fuel pump and they all worked. the fuse is good. How can i test the Pressure switch for the compressor? can i short out the connector to make it think its on? thanks

I had been looking at the P239s for a while, every now and then I can find them used for a good price. Right now I have the sig P229 in .357-SIG, .40 and 9mm.. It's a great firearm. I basically paid $450 for it (.357-sig only) then later bought a .40 cal barrel. And a 9mm conversion barrel not long ago. The .357-sig and .40 use the same mags and the 9mm can be used in the same mags but may jam. I still need to pick up a 9mm mag for it. And for everywhere carry I have a diamondback .380 super good price at the time.

I have had my MJ for 5 years and 99% of the time I do great but I have my moments when I stall out in my yard lol I love driving stick shift cars and trucks. My WK Grand Cherokee even has auto stick (sport shifter) it's always fun to play with a V8 even if its just a 4.7L I can't wait to get my uncle's 1990 300ZX running again its a blast to drive with the T-Tops off!

Peugeot To Ax15 Swap, Parts List?
Blue88Comanche replied to Road Hammer's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I had to order an aftermarket cross member for my swap.. And my tranny did not come with a mounting plate now that was a pita... I bought a rusty's crossmember I haven't had any issues with it. However if possible find a tranny with the external slave. This way if the slave goes out (and the internal will) it will be easier and cheaper to replace -
