Is there a difference for transmission? The tranny has its own separate controller. I have one out of mine. It was originally auto. Kept it in there after the ax15 swap. No issues. Swapped it out trying diagnose stalling issue. Wasn't the problem. It's a 90. 25$ + shipping if interested.

I have always gotten free shipping or bought when they had a rebate which would baically pay for shipping. Still way cheaper than buying retail. I actually got my last set from tractor supply. There was a buy 3 get 4th free that ended up costing the same as buying online. Those are the ones on the MJ currently.

I got a front axle from a late xj with the same gearing as my mj. $150. Direct swap. Front alignment when done. No worries.

Cooper is just about the only ones that still manufacture all their tires in the good ol' usa. Discovery at3's on the mj. Not sure if they make that size though. love them. Wife said best tires we ever had on the tj. And she drove it 18 yrs with many different brands. Best in the rain by far on the tj.

Or how about just make the truck again? A modern interpretation.

Roadtripping on the bike. Ran across this decent rust free mj that needed a few things but looked solid. Walmart parking lot. Winslow,AZ. Left a card on windshield. Talked to the owner on the way out. 88 and had 602000 miles on it. Whoa! I saw the odometer with my own eyes. My 225k '90 is just a baby. He said he had put 2 motors in it over the years.

Easy to do but time consuming. I recommend a buddy to help. I resurfaced my flywheel and have had 0 issues. Look at my build thread. I converted from auto to manual. You can do it but it is time consuming. Something will always be stuck or break. Remember these trucks are old. Prepare to make up words(think yosemite sam) to call your truck while in process.
