i have one of those in the last link. it came with my MJ. I'm going to re-apply it somewhere.

you can look at CW's project page in the projects section. simple and functional. Pete's are just a work of art with them going through the "frame" rails.

mine is doing the same thing. ive put in a new TCU, and changed both fuses. I'm thinking it might be the TPS, or the solenoids. There is an AW4 manual available on pirate that you could check out...its a PDF file and has LOTS of good info. let me know if you solve the problem. I will be working on mine in the next few days, and will post up if i find anything.

mine has a d44, and 3.54 gears. i don't know what i should do in the up-coming year. id like to keep the disco axle because i like the idea of a lincoln locker to save money on lockers, but i want a strong axle capable of 35's. i am a VERY light driver and never spin the tires, so I'm hoping that with upgraded joints i will be all set. is there anyway to get the 760x joints into a disco axle, and retain the disco part of it? i read the link that pete posted, and I'm a little confused about what he reaplaced.

i have my eyes fixed on TSLs. ive seen them used around here, and they are very impressive tires.

howcome the vehicle is LHD when its in europe?

the tc should bolt up if both are autos. from then on its just unbolt everything from the 1990 and puttting it on the 87. i do believe that the AW4 has to be switched aswell. Where is Ware? I'm in pepperell MA if that means anything. if its not too far maybe i could lend a hand.

I'm in mass too, but you are ~2 hours away from me. look at RE for a lift, or you could just piece together a lift with new/used springs, controll arms, trackbar.

i have 195,700 on my 1995 XJ. ive never doubted it, and love it. it leaks so bad though. i changed the oil a month ago, and ive already had to add 2.5 quarts to keep the dipstick at full.

worst comes to worst, just top it off, fill a 5 gallon gas can, put it in the back, and run it to empty. keep an eye on your trip meter though, so you know how far you've gone. we have to do this on our truck. at 400 miles, you hae a bout 75 miles till empty.
