This one always got me as a kid. I'm 31. 0z6fcd--354 And since we're doing this, here's some other greats from my childhood. PNl9M5TxGC8 Mo8Qls0HnWo

Thats funny because it reminds me of a WK. Especially from the doors forward. Thats because it is. I see Grand Cherokee, not Compass. My point exactly. That was an attempt at a SRT8 Comanche concept. You can "puke all over the place" all you want, as someone said but it'd be the fastest pickup on the road with a 6.4L Hemi.

Can you quote me a set of 5100's for 2" lift shipped to 33527? Please include you good ole boy discount along with any forum discount for comanche club and/or NAXJA. Thanks :) No they are not. They are zinc coated; BILSTEIN Triple-C Technology® BILSTEIN’s triple coating process on 5100, 5125, 5160 and 5165 Series shocks provides a long lasting, great looking high luster finish. Coating 1: The special zinc alloy ensures excellent adhesion to the base material and is the base for sustained corrosion protection. Coating 2: The middle coating transforms the zinc layer into a sealed homogenous smooth surface. Coating 3: The top coat is the final step providing the high luster finish as well as additional, long-term protection against mechanical wear and corrosion. Over 600 hours DIN 50021 SS salt spray test.

Looks great! Fun looking truck. -
Great looking Jeep but dude mount those hooks properly or don't mount them at all. Looks ridiculous and you did such a nice job of cleaning that truck up.

Are you saying the 5100's arent stainless either?

You may think about converting to a newer style filter adapter while youre at it. Or deleting the adapter all together.

How do you like those? How would they compare to a set of Bilstein 5100's? I plan on spending around $300 for a set. I'm not going to skimp on shocks for once.

I'm looking at my options for some new shocks for Project Shark-Attack. Ive been researching some part numbers and it seems rear shocks for a WJ are proper size and mounting configuration. Can anyone confirm this? Also, I'm planning YJ shocks for the front. This project will have a modest 2" lift.

Cheaper than that? I think your doing OK there. Buy them already.

Weve all had days like that. it happens. Some days i wonder if i have accomplished anything, somedays i can't believe how much I've gotten done. I bought my MJ and figured id have it on the road in no time. The further into it i dug the more problems and broken stuff i found. I decided that a full restoration(resto-mod actually) was in order for this once proud truck.

Buying a comanche tomorrow/ dw questions

Also, check for rust in the floor boards. You should be able to see the rust through the bottom outside the cab. Its not a deal breaker because its easily fixed but it could give you some bargaining power.
