  1. WOW CW you have done a heck of a lot of work to that manche since i've been part of this site. It looks absolutally awsome. Is it getting close to what you are invisioning??? or are you just playing it by ear?
  2. well feel free to jump over to the canadian side on the hoiday break, i will hopefully bring mine to a DD in about a weeks time lol. could always use some expert knowledge
  3. no, i broke it when taking the origonal off the manche, but i couldnt see it because it broke flush and i also dropped the screw inbetween my two rad core pieces. (all that happened yesturday). then today i bolted everything up, remembered i dropped thebolt , fished it out and the noticed it was broke. so then i pulled it all back apart again and looked at it and said UH-OH and here i am.....lol looks like it will sit for a while like that though as i am getting ready to head into finals
  4. the AW4 is suppose to be a pretty solid tranny. I like having mine, but I do miss driving the stick if you going with a stick choose an AX15, the extra $ will be worth the less hassle
  5. I'm just worried about cracking my block because the bolt is so close to the #1 (or possibly #6 i guess) cylinder, nor do i have any experiene or have anyone to show me I know i will have to take my rad out, but will i have to pull off the front clip as well?
  6. are easy-outs expensive?
  7. any more pics kicking around of current progress?
  8. well i picked up my parts to change over to the 97 Xj front eng, and i found a nice lil canister inside of it. but it is round, only has 1 hole. can i use it? mine has 3 vaccuum lines
  9. suppose some idiot, and by idiot i mean myself, snaps one of the water pump bolts into the block. how would one fix such a problem....
  10. you could very well be right that is no torwue spec, or it may be very low. but i don't want to bolt it up and ruin the gasket if i don't have to lol
  11. anyone know if /what the torque spec is? I'm trying to finish up changing mine so I can get it ready for the road Thanks
  12. a little while ago we attacked the wikipedia, you might want to take a look at that. i bunch of guys off of here added some pretty neat stuff about options and such
  13. would it be a dramatic difference?? i would like to eventually run 31's, and i know they will fit stock, but they do rub a bit so i figures with about 2 inches of lift and some better backspaced rims, it would look pretty nice, and give enouh flex that i could do a little offroadign with it
  14. how do you guys upload those??? and where do you make them from?
  15. mine is also missing completely, kinda of a big deal or no??? i was told it will run fine without it, but it is not runing at the moment...lol
  16. not really sagged at all, it actually sits really nice as is i know i can run them, but i would like to do just some minor offroad with it, and i have a set of 265/70/r15s for it i have a chance at the lift for 50, i thought it might be interesting will be putting on wheel spacers in the back though just for a diff look
  17. I'm looking at picking up a 2 inch budget booster, spacers and 2 inch shackles for the rear? WHat do you guys think I'm also lookign at getting a 98 D30 front axle. Any concerns or opinions ont he matter?? Thanks fellas
  18. i thought i read some where that they were, the only major trans change i can remember is the peugot to the ax15, but then again i may be off on a tangent instead of the secant....damnit i hate calculus
  19. no wiring issues at all?? i think it wil be a better swap, cause when i go to convert it to 4wd i want to make everything nice and easy the new manche has some wiring problems....it could be an intersting winter holiday
  20. Anyone ever change a column shift to a floor shift for an auto??? I'm suppose to be picking up a 91 manche with an ax15, so i thought i could use the shifter set up then use an XJ shifter. i know i will have to change the column, but is it as simple as i am thinking it will be??
  21. IIRC you can use any year, but I'm pretty sure they are not a direct bolt in due to the difference in the bracketry. you will have to mod them a bit, but it shouldnt be too bad. pick ones that go well with ur interior and have fun with it
  22. hey 87 manche, toss up some pics, or show me where i can get them. i would like to take aa look
  23. well I'm going jyard hunting on thursday i think i saw 2 sets there, but who knows what they will want for them i hope only like 25 bucks or something close
  24. what pressure did u sandblast them at??? those wheels look excellent, i am honestly going to blast some turbines and paint them similiar/possibly same colour if you don't m ind that is. congrats on the creativity. it makes me actually like the looks of those wheels lol!
  25. hmm....i could sure use some to get rid of that hurniated disk of mine.....
