Wow 22mpg , I'm lucky to get 12-15 and all I got are some 31's on it. I'm changing the axles from 3.07 to 3.55 in the near future hopfully I get a couple miles back. I'm not complaining I get on it once and a while, but the highway sucks it down fast it bogs down at 65 70mph especially when I got a head wind or going up a hill it kills it, I loose mph's fast. I try to draft people to help it some.

    What Radio to Buy?

I have had alot of decks and the best ones I have had experience with is JVC and pioneer. The low end pioneer are good also they can handle the vibration well and the bumps with out breakin your wallet. Find a decent new or used one a on ebay for cheap. I got a pioneer deck that plays mp3 disks and has way to much stuff on it and I don't know half of it, I have no idea what model it is I think a 8400 somewhere around there I got it for $200 and it works great. I havent had a luck with sony I think all there stuff is crap. I have the old sony out of my car and put it in the manche it barely get stations and skips when I hit a good bump. later
  4.
  5. Will a battery make that much of a difference moving it 2 ft. Its only 40lbs. It seems like that would be a pain in the @$$ just for a couple lbs.
  6. I went and got some made at a shop around here. The ones they made me were thicker than the pieces that were on there. I have I think 4 leafs in the back thats the way I got it and it rides stiff . I don't know if they used 2wd leafs or not. Would bad shocks cause it to sag?
  7. Yeah I replaced two lower leafs when I had my rear end out so that can't be it. I check on ebay all the time and they have some on there for a 2in drop . What kinda lift would that be for my truck? I don't need heavy duty ones I don't go wheelin hard or anything.
  8. I have heard of people using chevy drop shackles, I don't know what ones to get. I don't need a big lift just a few inches to get the sag out of the rear end.
  9. duh :wall: I didnt think of that, thanks. Just curious what do they do?
  10. OK, my vac lines fell on the exhaust pipe and one or two got melted  , What would these affect being melted? Is it ok to use 4x4 or is going to mess something else up? I noticed my dummy lights don't come on anymore

  12. Right, I was talking about the push rods and lifters and valve cover. thanks for the info
  13. ooooooooooo  the fancy ones LOL jking, Yeah those should would. Make sure no loose caps. Also make sure you push the fuel rail on to the injectors very good. I can't remember if I put the injectors in the rail or in the head first one of the ways makes it a little easier, I used a little motor oil or a little grease to lube up the o-rings so they slide easier.
