  1. pickup or borrow a fuel pressure gauge and check your pressure after the pump primes, during starting and while "running." it hooks up to the shrader valve on the fuel rail. they usually arent much more than $20 and are a good thing to have in your tool box.

  3. now I'm not a total supporter of buying a chainsaw from walmart but awhile ago my dad bought a poulin "predator" for under $150 from walmart it either has a 16 or 18 inch bar not sure at the moment but it starts everytime and does what i need it to do. a few years back he had a craftsman and its identical to the walmart poulin he picked up. oh and if you do get the "predator" it has neon green and red graphics. they are pretty sweet.

  5. actually its the last 4 pics. i forgot there was a drainage ditch on the side of my driveway one day. had to get the tractor to get it out as you can see in the first one. i really thought it was going to go over. the pics don't do justice. pics nonetheless

  7. those sway bar links look wayy to long for your lift height. unless there mounted to the axle in a way other than the original ones then id look around for some shorter disconnects. jks makes nice ones personally i don't run any but i miss them on highway exit ramps.
  8. I'm pretty sure they are the same. my bro has a wide track d44 out of a cj under his yj and i always thought yj and mj axles were the same width
  9. i used to live in mass and was a liscenced inspector for a year or so. the law i went by when i built my truck was wheel base x wheel track/2200 which on a short bed came to about 4.5 max inches of lift. whenever a truck came in that was lifted a significant amount i had to check it out with my boss. he had never heard of that lift law and looked at me like i had ten heads when i told him that. there was no rhyme or reason to what he decided failed or passed it seemed pretty much based on his mood. anything obviously over height was rejected. it depends on what shop you go to. my buddies still in MA always manage to get a sticker somewhere. usually offering an extra 20-40 bucks to the guy doing the sticker made the difference. or get a job doing inspections. thats how i got mine. i was only a couple inches over though.
  10. nope it turns over fine
  11. 350 w/o header 450 w/ header. the header has dual outlets so it will require a little fab to make it work. i don't believe theres a distributor on the motor right now. plugs/wires are never used but are about 1.5 years old
  12. hey ive got a motor out of an 89 i bought of "rejeep" a few years back. he said it has 80k on it. when i bought it i replaced the rearmain, headgasket, valvecover gasket, pushrods, thermostat probably a few other things i can't remember now. i never put the motor in my truck it was in storage for a while but right now its covered outside my buddies house in MA. ill be heading down there this weekend and i can grab it if your interested. it also has a pacesetter header on it. let me know what you think your about 3.5 hours away. my fam does head up to houlton ME sometimes if you don't need it right away.
  13. ok this is probably the lamest thing that someone coud do. this year i started school at New Hampshire Technical Institue. while i never lock my doors at home ive been very careful to lock them at school, mostly because of my stereo. The ONE time i leave my driver door unlocked i come back to find my ash tray with a few dollars in change missing. why would someone take an ash tray??? if they needed the change that bad go for it but now i don't have an ash tray to put my highway money in. and while your stealing why didnt they take the amp, speakers, and head unit as well? what p!$$e$ me off the most is the lack of respect people have and knowing that people are messing around with my truck.
  14. even up here in new hampshire about 5 of my buddies have used the confederate flag headliner idea. they just pulled down the backing removed the old sagging headliner and glued/wrapped the flag around it. all of them came out looking pretty good but i think the idea is starting to get over used. I'm more of a pirate flag fan but i do have both a confederate flag sticker on my truck and a pirate flag. i catch alot of flack for the confederate flag sticker, mostly by people who think all it stands for is racism.
  15. mine just recently started doing the same thing. i was leaning to iac also. it seems worse when its damp out. i don't know why this would be though
  16. ive done 4 manifoilds and never had to drain the coolant. weird
  17. 92 is an electric speedo iirc
  18. thanks for the help. when i crawled under and saw a fill and a drain i didnt know what he was talking about when he said u have to take off the shifter boot but turns out the fill plug is stripped and i ended up pulling out the shifters to fill.
  19. when i first did my lift my camber appeared to be way out. i did an alignment at wrk and set the toe back into spec and my camber looked fine after that. yours looks just like mine did after the lift. set the toe and then see how it sits
  20. yeah its hard getting instructions from someone on a morphine drip
  21. i kno its wayyy off the usual topic but I'm just wondering if anyone has changed the fluid in one before. a woman at wrks husband is in the hospital and she needs the fluid changed in it so she has a car to drive. its twin sticked and i told her id see if i could do it for her 2mrrw. i think u fill it down through the shifter. if theres anything weird i should kno lets hear it thanks
  22. no differential lock?
  23. think about doing the injectors anyway. i got a 2mpg increase with my new ones.
  24. well thats not very constructive. i could break it right now if i wanted to. ive been babying her and staying out of the woods and changing the fluid often. its only turning 31s and i think that if i use it to drive an hour to school n back every few weeks then I'm really not that crazy. just looking for opinions on what r the best products to keep it going and if any of them stop the annoying howling then that is freakin awesome. if it does blow then o well atleast i tried
