i know I'm not innocent. wasnt playing out to be. that comment doesnt seem smartass to me. i say that all the time. either way this is done and over with for me  isnt there a way for the mods to clean up threads anyway? this would be a perfect example

thats what i was afraid of! i knew they're about to rip that place down so i had to get it....if she said so or not :peek:
-
it was just to haul it home. i was worried it would fall off going down gravel. plus my cb antenna won't let me put it on all the way

LOL i wasnt trying to be a smartass! well maybe the smiley thing but look we'll just call it good and be done with it. hell this whole second page is us going back and forth! sure it makes a good read for others but come on :shake: :rotfl2: and I'm up near 30 so i wouldnt say I'm a kid anymore :(

man i need to buy more. you guys are snatching them all up! nice score

again, you took the first shot. i wasnt acting immature, simply stating what i thought since who in the hell would want to smoke those if your not trying to quit. save money, ooohhhh. you were acting like money wasnt an issue when paying for smokes so then why do it. but your right i don't understand your retarded logic. i guess that is my problem   :fool:

i went a got it not long after that post. talked to the woman and she said anything let over there is up for grabs. took a tape measure before even loading it and it lines up almost perfect. i think it is an MJ topper. needs some cleaning and a few little repairs but i think i might fix it up and throw it on for camping or hauling in bad weather.

yeah rob i thought about what all ive posted after that last one. should of never even went there. its not what CC is all about. no i wasnt trying to be a "internet tough guy". you took the first shot. i simply countered. thats all. anyway back on topic. i don't see whyd youd want to switch to ecigs or the like when your not trying to quit. its like dropping one vice for another :dunno:

well the guy died who had an MJ i was going to buy. then his wife got kicked out of the house (land lord) and the MJ disappeared :fs1: anyway theres a topper left behind and i might snag it if it is. it seems to be the perfect fit for a swb. are there any markings or anything i could look for to tell? i need to hurry because they are tearing down that house and I'm sure burning everything.

finally put on the 33" mud grapplers on 16" pro comps. along with bilstein 5160s, JKS bar pin elimi's and upper conversion mount. 6.5 rock krawler coils and 6.5-8" RK track bar. still have a lot to do before the clubs spring run on 4/20. need to tweak the caster a bit but other then that good to go up front

can't believe i missed this thread! I'm about to have to buy a new floor jack as well but was just thinking harbor freight. didnt know if itd be worth it or not. seems like its worth a shot..

we really need a flip off smiley..... whats the point of switching to ecigs if your not trying to quit. so you can spend more money and look like a complete douche bag. Way to go!

i bought standard mopar spring perches from summit 12.88 plus shipping (you can get longer ones from barnes4wd to fight axle wrap 26.14 plus shipping), new shock mounts from barnes4wd 14.78 plus shipping, ubolts from autozone 19 bucks a pair and ubolt plates from a XJ at the junkyard 4 bucks if that. thats it besides the new rear axle 100 bucks. i bent my rear brake hard line to give me enough droop. so no new line but for like 55 bucks or so why not just go on and knock that out too. i have original MJ leaf springs so i was set on that. for the front, i agree ditch everything you have and sell it. buy whichever brand you want to lift it to desired height. id go long arms but thats just me  at least get adjustable front control arms. youll regret it later if you don't.

quit being lazy and use some damn will power. if you REALLY want to quit you can. just do it. i smoked for years and just one day put them down and havent touched them ever again. i guess some people are so easily broken you know the saying. its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog...............

Scored a roll bar for free, and the Jeep attached to it.
SW86 replied to Comanche County's topic in The Pub
$#!& the roll bar looks brand new and in a truck that doesnt. :dunno: -
haha i just got the same radiator on friday! unfortunately for me the box was half way open and the filler neck is bent down a hair which pushed it in a little along with the tranny line spot. I'm calling them monday. i almost told the guy to return to sender. anyway youll be very happy with the 3 row. it drops the temps a good deal even in the summer heat

:rotf: :shake: i will say this though. if you get the right wind, on the right day, theres something peaceful about flying a kite

mmmm coilovers  that thing looks like itd topple over in a heartbeat. id still go unimog too though

go buy a used 96 and up xj single piece pass side shaft, then USA alloy tube seals. make a cover to cover the hole when you throw away all that $#!&ty CAD stuff. i then cut my lines running from it and shot some silicone up in there so the light doesnt come on. of course youll have to swap the drivers side too since it won't work with alloy seals. shafts are like 15 bucks a piece down here. ideally your supposed to change out an inner seal when swapping shafts to newer single piece but USA seals do the job too. even though thats not what they're intended for. however you could just go buy a whole new d30 from a 96 and up (for the bigger ujoints) xj and be done with it. its worth the money IMO and probably run you about the same as new shafts and those usa seals. plus as i tell everyone i know local that continues to run CAD axles. when you break that shaft, i doubt many people will have a spare for it on the trails. and when you try to run a single piece one to get you out, first uneven ground, your diff fluid will go everywhere. not good. of course all this could just be me, being, well me. but id rather do it and not ever have to worry with that pointless $#!& again. especially if you actually go offroading

3.75 most places and was 3.65/3.69 at the places with the "deals"

i don't about anybody else but i don't like the way that ujoint cap is still poking out a little. ^^^^ the trick with the is to tap them on each cap to loosen up the clips, then save yourself some trouble and buy the press from harbor freight. its 60 bucks and pays for its self each time you change a joint or ball joints. anyway. installed the spartan in the 8.25 today! i offically hate c clip axles now too :headpop:

good deal. thanks man. thats the way i was going to do it :chillin:
