I didnt mention this earlier but Pong with his weth of knowledge and expertise kinda hinted at it. What about an exo cage??? They look badarse and even protect the body as well. Maybe this could be an option if you could find somewhere that would bend you up some tubing for a good deal. :brows: BTW Glad to see your back in the swing of things PingPong it been awhile. ;) Cole

That does suck maybe Skip can work something with you. He is the owner since its private property and his shoot him an email and maybe he can hook you up. He is a great guy anyways just let him know your a long distance away. I think we should have a MJ meet there just to see the look on the TJ and YJ and so on and so on guys faces. Check out USjeeps.com and look for any of the gulches threads. There are black diamond trails in there that only few have made through and none that were still the same after they were done. Clemson Did a couple trails in there with there off-road club to....Maybe we should sart this back up in the Gulches thread???? OK I am bringging this back up because the paint and decals are done for now. Spence Hooked me up with some custom decals and they are great they worked out very well and Spence has out done himself. They are ecaxt to what I want and fit just like the photochop above someone done when I first talked about the letter. Here are the pics. What do you think of her. You can get by with just a hammer from what some say and then the 4.0 will slide in. Others have done it and I am sure they will chime in and also welcome to the addiction. Cole

It does not do well at high speeds for long distance and plus it only has 4.10s and 35s so it don't like the road that much. I use it as my DD cause I never leave base hell the tag and inspection has been dead for a month (don't tell anyone) but i don't drive threw the gate so no one knows. I am nervous about a 4 hour trip in it especially up and down the mountains until I get it how I want with mid 5 gears and a new 2.5 and such. but it does suck not to be able to drive on the interstate. Not sure but isnt that getting real close to the opening for the tire?? You have to consider if you shorten it with the stock bed and you are shortening the wheelbase you may have probs with the tire not being in center of wheel opening. Just a thought you might have looked over. Thats why most of the guys that want shorter go truggy cause in the end it works out better than trying to stay stock looking. I would try to find a SB and throw that bed on it if you want to keep the stock bed if not tube it. You can see By PONG and Bretts truggys they still have alot of room plus plenty of space to strap from. Check out the guy in the projects forum truggy. Its a newer post but I like the look of his bed section. Cole

Yeah if I can find a tow rig and I'm still in country Id like to but as of right now I am unsure. BTW we should try to get a run to Gulches ORV park up and going I have posted info in the trail ride section on it but again I need a tow to get there. Cole

The electrical componets as far as the starter and battery don't sound like the issue. But have you changed your coil maybe that could be it. Cole

I made some tube doors for mine but I want to cut down on the mud and crap slung up on my hip when driving on the road. I didnt want to use sheet metal cause it would kill some of the visibility of the doors. Anyway we can get back on topic now. My vote is for A truggy. I love them and would like to do it to mine but haveing the truck 6 years just don't allow me to have the heart to do it with THIS one maybe one day. Cole

Looks great. Have you thought of putting the end caps off the stocker on the new bumper or will it look stupid. I like the box design but you said its not going to be that strong and It looks pretty dang tough to me being box and all. Keep us posted and keep up the good work. Cole

I didnt get it either and the link didnt go down they had to many new people just registering to look at it and decided to cut all of them out and start over with a locked forum.
