Thank you

That’s really interesting Like these? I had never heard or seen that before, it’s certainly interesting but personally I prefer it in the middle, it just looks like something is missing
-
Thanks Carter! I definitely have to agree, these are Imo the best looking seats ever put in an XJ and they are so comfortable
-
Got the seats in last night there just wasn’t enough light for any of the pictures so I took them this morning
-
Today I picked up a really nice set of XJ limited seats, and have officially changed the name from Grandpa Jeep to Comanche limited as I feel it suits it’s new 21slot and seats well

About a year ago I picked up this simplicity landlord 16 garden tractor, and one of the main differences with the other tractors I’ve had and this is that this mower has bolt on wheels, and I went out and checked and in fact the wheel pattern was 5X4.5. after that I then proceeded to put some old 31’s on it and drove it to the neighbors house skipping forward about a year, we got the boggers dug out of the shed and also got some 22” tires on the front so it wouldn’t be as unbalanced. And here’s how it sits now.

We back now!! -
Lol it’s difficult to explain to people that yes my lawnmower does in fact have bigger tires than my truck
-
They seriously do, Its like helicopters are chasing me. Even with the windows up you can hear them over the radio
-
Randomly got this idea when driving home yesterday, decided to put 33 boggers off my lawnmower onto the MJ and add teeth and signature angry eyes just in time for Halloween. Also swapped the 21 slot for the 10 slot so I wouldn’t have to make so many teeth lol

Are these wires for foglights?

Or train horn… -
So today I was messing around with putting another factory switch panel In the left side of my dash, and I popped the switch out and the faces came out, so I examined more and the switch comes apart into 3 pieces, the switch, the bezel, and the actuator. But if you pop out the switch and flip it over and put it back and the power comfort light won’t shine out it anymore and onto your windshield. Never really new these came apart until the first one started to you can even pop the face out while it’s still in your panel and flip the face so the little plastic is on the bottom, also you could just cover the plastic on the inside and leave it right side up

I’ve found with the tailgate straps when they start to do that you can just give them a couple bends away and they will work like new
-
Also today added some misc things like chrome tow hooks, painted windshield trim and drip rails, but most importantly installed some NOS mopar rainguards
-
Finally bit the bullet and painted the roof after all this time, I don’t even think I can look at how it was before in comparison Before: Da’d down: Primed: First Base: Final product:

89 LB 4X4 w/column shifter....
jpnjake replied to 88towmanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Almost every automatic MJ I’ve seen has been a column shift. It was an option on the MJ’s to have the floor shift automatic. The rare things are the super small console for just the 4wd shifter (only available in column shift 4x4’s, and the full bench seat with no notch only available in 2wd column shift MJ’s -

Lol well that goes great, between us we have a metric ton, my truck has the springs but a Dana 35
-
I typically load mine into my truck with a couple 2x10x8 boards I bought at Home Depot, they rest on the factory bumper and can sometimes walk inwards twards the license plate, but I screwed a couple cut 2x4’s that index the boards in place. The only problem I’ve ever had with them was when they were brand new one of my tractors wouldn’t drive up then because of how smooth they are so I sanded them for grip. I also have metric ton leafs in my truck IMG_4763.MOV

Wait a minute are those donut wheels (they look sweet)

It doesn’t take up a ton of room, I can fit almost any garden tractor in the bed still, even my one with 33 boggers on it. It really doesn’t take up any of the usable space
-
I did not, it mounts to the lip with little threaded hooks that hold onto the bed rail, and I have a peice of angle iron that rests on the bed, and if your running it without a bedliner you need a 4th support by the wheel well. I’ll post some pictures of it later
