I can't be the only L33 Comanche that runs, get er done! -
I wasnt able to complete an order either. Got to the last part and it just wouldn't go through. Tried a bunch of times and never let me finish the payment.

Draining Full Gas Tank
70barracuda replied to MontanaManche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I used a small 5/16 plastic hose. Was the only one I had that fit. Took a bit of wiggling but I got it and it drained the tank almost till empty. Took a while though. -
Just after some good seat belts. I figured they wouldn't be perfect OEM matchable. 30 year old seat belts just don't seem like a great idea to use especially since I might race this thing. Biggest concern was fitment because they are for an xj. As long as I don't have to cut up trim and they work I'm good.

Quite amazing how fast all that came out. The hardest part was the a pillars because at some point the windshield was replaced and they used so much glue it stuck the glass to the trim. Other than that everything came out easy. I got a new heater core for mine as I might as well change it when I go to swap the dash.

Wow lots of options here. That sunroof style hood would actually be pretty legit... After searching many and many website I think I found some I'm gonna get. https://www.verus-engineering.com/shop/product/hood-louver-kit-large-vents-brz-frs-gt86-332?page=2&category=17 They are angled the exact way I wanted. Help force the air out and not only cool but help with some downforce as well. Plus they make drip rails for them too.

Need a driver side shoulder seat belt with the retractor. Tan color. Almond or honey would work.

How do you like the grant wheel and adapter? I'm looking at a MOMO right now but 250 for a wheel is something else -
interior arm rest fix
70barracuda replied to 70barracuda's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Awesome. Put an order in already. Also took a look at them because I can't leave anything alone. Along with the mounts being wobbly it looks like the screw heads were being pulled through the backing of the rest. I used some lock washers (all I had that fit in the holes) and tightened them up. 90% of the wobble is gone. I may get slightly larger ones and see if it helps along with new door mounts. -
Anyone got one? I'd like to have a slightly smaller wheel but from what I can tell from pictures they stick out further than factory. I already sit close to the wheel cause of my short legs for the clutch and I don't need it in my chest. Any feedback?

interior arm rest fix
70barracuda replied to 70barracuda's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
From what I can tell it looks like the door mounts are loose. -
recently got some door panels that use the small single arm rest with 2 mounting holes. they wiggle and move all over the place even with the screws super tight. any fixes for that? i would rather have the hockey stick style but the door has the impressions for the small rest already and the other style won't cover them up. Plus i don't want to poke a hole in the panel, they are mint
