  1. I can't be the only L33 Comanche that runs, get er done!
  2. On my trip I was seeing around 16 to 20. But I hammer the gas any chance I get still lol. I image once I calm down I'll be seeing low 20s
  3. Found my old cable from the original dash. Wrapped it in the 2000 degree exhaust header wrap and then a 1000 degree aluminum fiberglass tape. Hopefully that takes care of the melting issue.
  4. I wasnt able to complete an order either. Got to the last part and it just wouldn't go through. Tried a bunch of times and never let me finish the payment.
  5. 2 hour drive down the shore and I only melted the speedo cable. I call that a success.
  6. https://www.seatbeltsplus.com/product/WSCH256P.html These look almost like a dead similar set up as the OEM style.
  7. I used a small 5/16 plastic hose. Was the only one I had that fit. Took a bit of wiggling but I got it and it drained the tank almost till empty. Took a while though.
  8. Just after some good seat belts. I figured they wouldn't be perfect OEM matchable. 30 year old seat belts just don't seem like a great idea to use especially since I might race this thing. Biggest concern was fitment because they are for an xj. As long as I don't have to cut up trim and they work I'm good.
  9. Quite amazing how fast all that came out. The hardest part was the a pillars because at some point the windshield was replaced and they used so much glue it stuck the glass to the trim. Other than that everything came out easy. I got a new heater core for mine as I might as well change it when I go to swap the dash.
  10. Wow lots of options here. That sunroof style hood would actually be pretty legit... After searching many and many website I think I found some I'm gonna get. https://www.verus-engineering.com/shop/product/hood-louver-kit-large-vents-brz-frs-gt86-332?page=2&category=17 They are angled the exact way I wanted. Help force the air out and not only cool but help with some downforce as well. Plus they make drip rails for them too.
  11. Anybody find new manufactured seat belts that work? closest ive found are these : https://www.seatbeltsplus.com/product/Q8496P-4DR.html found a couple of threads about it but they fizzled out without a definite answer.

    Seat belt

Need a driver side shoulder seat belt with the retractor. Tan color. Almond or honey would work.
  13. How do you like the grant wheel and adapter? I'm looking at a MOMO right now but 250 for a wheel is something else
  14. Awesome. Put an order in already. Also took a look at them because I can't leave anything alone. Along with the mounts being wobbly it looks like the screw heads were being pulled through the backing of the rest. I used some lock washers (all I had that fit in the holes) and tightened them up. 90% of the wobble is gone. I may get slightly larger ones and see if it helps along with new door mounts.
  15. Got my new tach mounted. Couldn't handle the tiny little digital one. Also got the grill from the 86 onto mine. Plenty more to cannibalize of it for mine.
  16. Anyone got one? I'd like to have a slightly smaller wheel but from what I can tell from pictures they stick out further than factory. I already sit close to the wheel cause of my short legs for the clutch and I don't need it in my chest. Any feedback?
  17. From what I can tell it looks like the door mounts are loose.
  18. recently got some door panels that use the small single arm rest with 2 mounting holes. they wiggle and move all over the place even with the screws super tight. any fixes for that? i would rather have the hockey stick style but the door has the impressions for the small rest already and the other style won't cover them up. Plus i don't want to poke a hole in the panel, they are mint
  19. It already lost about 5 pounds from just shutting the door
  20. Yessir. I need some stuff off of it but after that it's fair game. (haven't decided if I want that bed light...)
  21. This is why I want it though. Mint honey interior. I only needed the dash but these panels are in way better shape than mine I have now.
  22. Apparently it was a plow truck from brand new. Factory set up.
