Looking for a good set of the door arm rests that aren't the hockey stick style. Just the little 2 mount version. Need them in honey but other colors would work too.

I thought about that too. Unfortunately I scrapped the cut springs so I may pick up like 2 inch lift ones and cut those.

It has begun! What better a time to start I figure, literally can't do anything else on my days off. Got pretty much the whole wire harness, accessories, radiator and some other stuff out. This weekend my plan it to pull the motor and trans all together and power wash and paint the bay.

I work for AAA so as long as the roads aren't completely closed I imagine we'll be open. Not crazy about having people ride with me in the truck so it's pretty stressful. Days off I'm finally digging into my ls swap. Got most of the parts over the winter so now it's time. Hopefully car shows and stuff will be open when I'm done.

Oof 80 bucks for a yoke. And it is 27 spline I counted. It goes on so spline number is good but it's almost like it's too thick to fit all the way

having trouble getting the yoke to slide on the output shaft of my trans. itll go on about 1.5 inches and then just stop. I have it greased. I gave it a tap with a rubber hammer, not hard, and it didnt really move. It also locked up the trans so I couldnt spin it. Tapped it back off and couldnt really see where it was contacting. Not sure if the 2wd or 4wd jokes are different.

Little update. Been stock piling parts for the last couple months. Just got the transmission adapter and boy is it nice looking. Too bad it'll be stuffed away where it can't be seen. Finally have everything I need where I could put the drivetrain in the jeep. I'm gonna wait though until I have all the clutch components. I have to be able to see to make sure everything lines up and is within tolerances and that's way easier to do with everything on the ground. Plus I wanna put it all in in one swoop. Just a little bit more until I can start the swap!

Yup. It only really works on the bigger sights like summit, AutoZone, I think quadratec. But it's free and so easy to use so it definitely doesn't hurt.

I love monstaliner. Goes on super easy and looks really good. The texture is from the rollers you buy so it won't crumble over time like ones that use pieces of something to get texture. Stuff is super tough and it hides imperfections which was a plus for me. Like the other guy said, it's 90% prep. I did grey accents on mine. Roof, hood, and bumper. They recently came out with a maroon color so I might redo it all in one color.

Yeah the guys by me gave it a weird look and said ' I don't know if we can do this. Well have to check it out'. Hour later they said it was good to go

I have the two piece style driveshaft as well. Place by me was able to cut it down and balance no issues. Charged 150

I went with the loaded stainless. Originally I was gonna get just the plain mil spec one in black but while out shopping my buddy found the stainless in a case and made me check it out, after that it was a done deal lol. I wanted the better trigger and upgraded internals and also combat sights so I splurged and got the loaded

Haven't really had much time or funds the past couple weeks for alot of stuff. Treated myself to a new Springfield armory 1911, thing was more expensive than my whole jeep! But back on track now. I got the clutch and flywheel, Powertrax limited slip, Yukon axles, transmission adapter and mount from Novak, and a couple small things. Hopefully by the end of March beginning of April I will start ripping it apart. I just love driving this truck so much I don't wanna have it down longer than I need it to be. Last two expensive parts are gonna be the efi system and headers, then the nickel and dime stuff that's gonna kill me...

Welp I decided that if I'm opening it up I'm replacing it all. 100 bucks for high beam switch, turn signal switch, new cam, stalk, tumbler, and ignition switch. Pretty much a freshening up minus wiper switch

I just ordered a new stalk because mine is all cracked and ugly. A new turn switch is only 30 bucks for an acdelco so i might just order it and since I'm going in there i might as well replace it. The wiper switch on the other hand is 150....so that will stay put.

Finally got to taking the exhaust manifolds off. They were super rusty so i kept putting them off. 3 bolts were already broken. The rest came out without issue surprising. Two of the broken were still accessible so a pipe wrench made short work. Last one was flush with the block. First time using a extractor and it was a success! Super scary doing it though. That was pretty much the last part of getting the engine prepped that I can do on the stand. Everything else will be done once it's in the jeep
