500 MJ

I told my Dad about it, he has been looking at getting one for awhile. The don't come cheaper than this and he is only a few hours away... We'll see what happens?

You might consider upgrading your alternator as well..?

OK, so I'm puzzled now. A company that specializes in off-road lift kits just built an MJ that showcases no lift at all? So whats the point of that?

Keep the seat brackets from the old seats! They are MJ specific where they tie into the floor pan, XJ floor pans are a bit different.

Yah, The thing is that I'm doing all of the stuff myself here at home. I plan on dropping the knuckles off at their place for them to do, then I'll pick them up and bring them home to complete the project.

The 21 slot was only offered on the 84 and 85 XJ Wagoneer. They were never offered on any MJ from the factory. 86-90 got the 4 stack headlights on the Wagoneer. Again, never offered on the MJ. Correct.

I had this happen to me years ago, thought the pilot bushing was going out. Loctite the bolts and snug them up, solved the issue for me. Mine was so bad that the flywheel ring-gear teeth were starting to eat into the inspection cover and starter teeth! All is good now though.

I know of the location of a few sets of MJ bucket brackets. I plan on getting them in the spring when I have some time to go and pull them from the yards. Let me know if you still need these then. - Brent

I guess you have a point, the harness does separate at the firewall. Let me look at what I have, I recently acquired a harness from automan and it just might be what you need. I just need to see if it's intact where you need it to be or not, I know it had a few things cut from it.
