Welcome to the forum. That is a very nice truck, and the story with it is even better. For the weatherstripping, all of the door stuff is the same as an 84-96 XJ Cherokee. If the window was leaking, I'd recommend pulling the carpet up to check the condition of the floors. Also, your grille is upside down.

I have the same tires in the same size on my MJ. That’s too much air. They’re better at 28 psi. You also need to have the tires at a more even pressure side to side.

The oil pressure sender is right there by the dizzy. That could be your oil leak.

This is the only color scheme I don't have yet. I have brown with woodgrain and black with woodgrain. I am yet to see this one in stores either.

These are fantastic tires. The are a very fair price and they seem to be great in all weather conditions.

It took a set of 5” lift springs from an XJ for me to build a spring pack to get just shy of a 3” lift in my MJ. I cut the eyes off of the main leaf and used that. I would say that it probably wouldn’t work well with new springs.

Those 80s have a lot of one year only parts too. That’s a very neat car.

Unless you have some sort of sentimental attachment to your MJ, it might be better off to look at selling it and finding another with a manual and 4x4. That said, both mania swaps and 4x4 swaps have been well documented on here and don’t seem that bad. If it’s a truck you plan on keeping for a long time, you might as well make it the truck that you want.
