  1. Beam in! Got it last night, didn’t fix my issue which I think it’s the new gear box. What ever. But I got peace of mind on the front suspension and no more clicks and groans.
  2. On the topic, something carter and I talk about regularly is recycling. Everyone preaches it and what not and yet people are dumping good vehicles.
  3. How’s the contacts for the coil at the ICM? Those literally stopped my XJ dead in its tracks while driving one day.
  4. Those are indeed fusible links. How come you are moving them to the battery? Something wrong with having them on the starter relay?
  5. Uhhh that’s my engine. Haha. It would be the hurricane 6 now. The I4 is know as the ‘tiger shark’. The hell kind of name is that anyways.
  6. So saving the image yields a 27.6KB file. Tiny and poor quality.
  7. Samsung failing you? haha. Despite the photo quality, it looks great. They did good.
  8. Ahhh. The one I was there but not there. Thanks ford inventory.
  9. Oh shoot! I need to update this. Gateway classics moved to a new building.
  10. It’s definitely tweaked.
  11. Good and bad news in one post haha. Someone else made the O2 at least the 2.5L ones. I think it was autolight if I remember right from the NOS ones I have. But at least we can get some standard stuff like they make the TBI rebuild kit which is good quality. I’m running a standard CPS in my Renix swapped XJ and it’s goin good.
  12. Boycotting them. I remembered and have a solution. There’s a couple dealers that actually have them near me. Thanks guys!
  13. I don’t even think our drain plugs need such though. I recall the catalog just showing the plug.
  14. Fair haha. There is one literally up the road. I’ll check their inventory.
  15. No. Guys what I’m saying is I need one quick. Like before Saturday kind of quick.
  16. Something I learned about the brand standard while working here at a ford dealer, Standard is the supplier of most, if not all of the sensors used on ford products. Granted ford products aren’t great but buying from standard should give another company that we can mildly trust with our Renix sensors.
  17. Holy Schnikes!! Better be made of gold for that price. But I will note this when I go the route to change the flag nuts out on both Jeeps.
  18. Anyone have a few spares theyre willing to part with? I ordered a new one but want to make sure I have one in time. Preferably from the states close to AZ but am willing to take a gamble on the mail the further out. Just need one. Thanks!
  19. Entirely possible. I’ve never fiddled with the settings but I just looked and haven’t changed them. Perhaps it has to do with me being on safari? Damned if I know haha.
  20. What’s interesting is I’ve uploaded Apple photos before from my phone and they usually come out fine on both PC and iPhone.
  21. Ok I have been chasing the weirdest steering issue for the better half of 6 months now and I have boiled it down to the beam. My 2wd beam has been through hell since I have owned her. Burning the old bushings out, putting in poly bushings, replacing coils, replacing the poly bushings and cutting out the sleeves of the old bushings, not good and tight sway bar bushings which would lead to a death wobble which ruined what little gripping power the upper control arm bushing mounts had, ball joint replacements, stripped threads on the coil spring bracket, welded a nut where the old flag nut once was, oh and my slight accident I had where I crunched both drivers side control arms...yeah! Good times. Any how it is being replaced with this beam from an 86. I noticed a couple differences with this one, the UCA mount openings face the back vs the front of the Jeep. The mounts also have supports welded to them which I believe are factory. Other wise that is it. It should be an easy bolt in and should fix alot of the issues I have currently while fixing old issues of the past. Grabbing the beam from my parents house. Beam all cleaned up Beam reinforced to prevent future removals of the UCA bushings from damaging the mounts and had one of the existing supports welds fail and rewelded that. Yes I did do a test fit and the UCA with bushing clears just fine. I should be able to get this done before the AMC show. Beam swap should be started and done tomorrow while waiting on some new parts. But this should correct the steering issue I am having once and for all.
  22. Good XJ right there. Had a cargo cover at one point. I do have one if anyone on here buys this.
  23. When I restored mine, it was heat and a BFH to knock out dents and fix any bends.
