  1. Probably need that ground. I might have it wrong and the blue is just for the VFD displays only. I remember when my dad first did my radio that when turning the head lights on or off would cause that issue you had.
  2. They are oddly as expensive as the turbine hub caps. They list out at $45 a piece. Used from 88-01 so makes sense why its expensive.
  3. You are correct. There are 19 left but way too damn expensive for a plastic center cap.
  4. Cleaned your grounds yet? Maybe clean some terminals and connectors out with electrical connector cleaner. The reason why your radio would turn off when you turn off the headlights is because that blue wire would be for the display. It would turn on or off the back lit display or dim the VFD if you had an older radio.

Another one of those put the plasma cutter down moments lol.
  6. 7 foot and 6 foot bed options were available from 87-92. So far so good though. Should look at the J-truck side step bed for ideas.
  7. When those scout songs from your scouting days resurface and strike back with a vengeance. I thought I escaped baby shark.
  8. Hmm peculiar. But these can make up for substitutes when the turbine caps disappear.
  9. I second what fiat said. What matters the most on Renix systems is if the alt is charging the battery or not. That being said, I have gotten my system to reflect what the charging says.
  10. You mean this one? I just added AC to mine and did a write up that's more for the 2.5L comrades as everything is flooded with info on the 4.0L
  11. Congrats! I always enjoy reading about your build. I remember this build being one of the first few builds I read before joining the club. Nice truck and such a sad fate for that XJ. Damn cash for clunkers. Will be watching for future updates from ya!
  12. Who knows. Someone on here just went picking and found an XJ with a phone in it. I have the 86 accessory book for the MJ that I think has the phone in it
  13. Both of those are just general accessories for all AMC vehicles.
  14. Some one does remake these tonneau cover. I probably will get it from them.
  15. I think that's factory. I can't see a manufacture putting an AMC part number on their product if its a replacement. I think that's legit despite the improper spelling. I have noticed that some manufactures of accessories don't know how to spell Comanche. I do plan on getting one of those covers just to hide stuff from people when I'm out and about. That being said, I'm worried I will have to replace it every couple years or take really really good care of it.
  16. I think someone on here has said combo but the cover isn't installed.
  17. Nope. No need to bring this down. Now everyone can see our vast book collections. Also Pete, Look at the image the link shows. Do I see other than the standard turbine rim hub caps on those turbines?
  18. Love it but we got this goin that already has that book in it:
  19. Yup and it only got worse.
  20. VB1 is active on the Ram trucks for that cooling reason right now but not out yet and it is supposed to address that issue.
  21. Would be a good part out and will probably get more than what you paid for it if you go that route.
  22. Sending PM
  23. It does work. I think its a later buzzer as it sounds differently than the old buzzers but I pulled it from an XJ. $5 and its yours.
