  1. Buddy and I gave it a stab a few years back doing LME and it was awful. Probably in large part because we were so spoiled with all the craft beers. Eventually will get back into it but too many hobbies going on to do it it right. plus no shortage of good beers in the fridge.
  2. This will be very interesting to see play out. Obviously, a ton of people are out of work right now and will only compound in the coming weeks. While I don't believe it is the governments responsibility to "support" anyone through this I do think there needs to be something that eliminates certain expenses or bills without negative repercussions. I.E delayed mortgage payments, debt forgiveness up to X amount and some other things. I'm fortunate enough to work in the field that never shuts down, healthcare, even on the admin side, but living in a resort community I feel for those that are reliant on the mountain being open to make their living.

    Beer

First on the beer docket for this evening...... Amplitude DDH ipa from Crooked stave. Decent beer, but I wouldnt buy again. Taste just seems like it can't make up its mind between being a juicy/hazy or a hoppier west coast style. Never really had anything from Crooked Stave that has been a mind blower. Think they are better sticking to their sours.
  4. I'm in Eagle county Colorado, we have the most confirmed cases in Colorado. I work for the hospital so it's been interesting. We have a behavioral health director that used to be an epidemiologist so he's been leading the charge through a lot of this. Luckily the hospital was extremely proactive in doing things. Before they set up the drive-up testing site in Denver we had one. It's technically the building that I work in. I do agree it's been an absolute crap show lately with people buying everything and anything. I don't consider myself to be the prepping type, but I did make it a point a few weeks ago to go and stock up on some things to avoid the hustle and bustle that's happening right now. I believe it is 100% a major issue. I find it disturbing that so many people are sticking their heads in the sand on this issue, especially our so called "leaders". Obviously working in healthcare I have a certain bias to these types of things. Someone put it in a good analogy though, think of it as a campfire. Under the right conditions and being monitored and quarantined closely it's not an issue. It's only when those conditions change and it no longer be contain that it becomes issue and can have devastating effects. As stated the strain has started to mutate into a more deadly version and will continue to do so until we get in front of it.

    Beer

Looks tasty! Got a stockpile of somethings in the frigid I'll get into tonight.
  6. Codemonk nailed it. Radius arm (the first one) is at least these days on the lesser desirable side. 3 link is a great set up and really the biggest difference between the choice to go 3 vs 4 link is packaging. Easier to place 3 links than 4. End of the day each system is better suited for what type of wheeling you want to do.
  7. Came on one of my stations. Felt slightly fitting given the current state of things........
  8. WJ pump is kind of pointless without a bigger box IMHO. if you're going to swap in a durango box it works great but not really worth it by itself.
  9. Rockauto all the way, theyll have some of the best prices by far. Moog is fine, just stay away from the r series stuff. Crown also is decent depending. If you are going to lift it you could also do adjustable arms even though they aren't necessary cost difference isnt that huge and most have rebuildable joints. Also if you don't want to do anything crazy with a lift could just look at upcountry coils, spacers or ACOS. I put the ACOS in mine to balance the rake and I like it.
  10. I personally think it's a solid option depending on certain things. If your MJ is beat up or your using it as a trail rig 100% best option, not worth it to rattle can. My only issue is I don't like the "textured" look, but that's where durabak comes in. They have a smooth option. https://www.durabakcompany.com/pages/colors
  11. Gears use www.grimmjeeper.com You can mess around with configurations to see what works well based on tcase and tranny set up. Guessing you're not planning on street driving so I'd go deep. 4.88+
  12. True, we always bought in off season with the exception of last time because we built. One thing I would say I learned is if someone will let you borrow money cheap do it. 20% on a loan these days isnt the best choice. But check and see. We put down 10% on the newest and our PMI was super low.
  13. I'd stick with it but be willing to walk and wait. Rates are great right now so more people are going to try and get to the market and list theirs. But its going to be a battle right now regardless.
  14. What overall BW are your going to run? You going to stretch it? I wouldn't go divorced. You are going to sacrifice your rear DS angle for the front. NP205/203 doubler is a great set up but you'll need to stretch your WB to accommodate the longer driveline. Other options is as mnkboy said and get a underdrive box. http://www.northwestfab.com/NWF-BlackBox-Underdrive_c_7.html https://behemothdrivetrain.com/collections/strong-box-underdrives
  15. Megasquirt is a good platform to do your tune off of. As for the intercooler issue i was mentioning the problem is the lack of airflow and then getting heat soak especially if you're crawling. If you are just cruising around town probably not as much of an issue. Water cooled IC can work just have to route it correctly. Can also use a water menthol kit or NOS intercooler spray kit.
  16. http://www.boostwerksengineering.com/40L-Turbo-Manifold-_p_17.html Check out boostwerks. Id love a boosted 4.0 have toyed with the thoughts but same issues always come up. Intercooler and cooling. So far the most effective way I found was a remote mount turbo as it moves the turbo out of the engine bay reducing heat and allows a smaller intercooler.
  17. I mean all he is doing is making it obvious his junk a$$ ford is coming. Think of it as a saftey warning.
  18. Honestly find someone to do it on the side or to help you out if cost is the deterrent. Gears are one of those things that takes a knowing touch and you run the chances of fn it up and having to replace a lot more.
  19. She is pretty dang adorable but I'm biased. Oh I have, she always want to have tools when I'm in the garage.
  20. Yeah spring time is house selling time and pay a premium time too. I agree Derf house hunting sucks. Hopefully something pops up.
  21. None of me, but my daughter LOVES to "drive" to jeep.
  22. Oh hes even rocking "custom" wood trim......
  23. Put down the hand saw. Bummer the MJ is wrecked but maybe it's in a better place.
