Sadly I agree with Pete, at least you can get a Jayco cheap, since either way you're going to be fixing it yourself. Just go through it very thoroughly if for nothing other than safety's sake. The month after mine was built Jayco shut it's factory down for a "quality control" stand down where apparently they all went through training. I don't know if that made a difference at all. I imagine their employees from then probably went on to better paying jobs flipping burgers. Sadly until competition starts building better trailers it will always be like this, the current brands all seem to have an agreement and half of the brands are owned or made by the same company.

Fun fact U-2s have temporary wing "landing gear" they fall off on takeoff so when it lands they must balance the plane until it comes to a stop. Limited visibility also makes it require a chase vehicle. Which makes the fact they did carrier landings during the cold war even more impressive.

I usually use flightradar which sounds like the same thing. For the most part the AF fancy birds don't show up. Only training jets and sometimes cargo. I get a lot of Chinooks, Apache and Blackhawks too. Here's a Dragon Lady over my house.

I forgot not on that link, our heater duct was collapsed right at the inlet, the high temps setoff the failsafe. So no heater while we were at Bryce canyon in the snow, and I was removing the couch/heater unit. Bryce canyon was awesome though.

Refrigerators take a ton of juice. I have 600W of solar and it barely keeps up while we're driving. I imagine it would kill a TT battery pretty quick especially if you just have the cheapo stock battery. As far as Jayco, here's my experience. (It sucked) https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f7/2020-245rls-built-so-poorly-it-was-dangerous-76820.html It's really luck of the draw though. If you get a coroplast undercarriage cover go through the hassle of removing it to fix issues! People lose full tanks on the freeway probably due to the first issue in my post. Weight distribution hitches are critical. I've towed my trailer which is 5300lbs unloaded 7k gross to almost every state in the western half of the US with my 2019 Ram1500 It does just fine. Find the model you like then call every dealer within 500 miles and see what they'll beat. I ended up paying 22k for a 32k msrp.

My back hurts just looking at it. Quite the haul there.

Heavy duty single DIN stereo mount
m2bandit replied to m2bandit's topic in Vendors- members making products for MJs
Hey Etxcivic, You can order it from my website. https://www.mickofalltrades.com/shop/ -
I ordered it from Amazon back in November. Ship date kept getting pushed back. I ordered it from summit the same day I tried to become a NAXJA sponsor... neither has happened Lol. Originally summit didn't say it was back ordered. I've contacted them about a real ETA because this gets pushed back every 2 weeks. They keep saying the next one is real. I tried contacting walker and didn't get a response. I'm fairly certain it's a lost cause, but I used a summit giftcard so I'm not out much. I'm really surprised at their lack of customer service, they used to be so good. @gogmorgo is the long bed one just a cut away from fitting? I've debated ordering one instead.

Console pocket switch panel
m2bandit replied to m2bandit's topic in Vendors- members making products for MJs
Front light bar, rear light bar, rock lights, 3 switches just for air lockers, rail shifter, line locks. Some people like toggle switches for fans. There are loads of reasons to need more switches than stock. if you have the stock 4 then there's already 4 there if you have blanks there I sell panels to replace those. I sell various panels to give people options. Personally I think the pocket isn't very useful on my Cherokee. If I throw a wallet or phone in there it's going flying. I also make a celphone mount. It all depends on what you're doing and what your needs are. -
I can make plugs but they'd be flat and you'd have to paint it.

Sounds good, I ended up just going 1/4" lower than the switch version I posted above. Here's a render. About a 1/4" is covered up by trim on all sides except the bottom which has a good half inch+ covered. That puts the top of the gauge just under 1/2" from the trim above it.

That sounds interesting. We should talk about it when I get things settled down. -
Console pocket switch panel

Way too many for me lol. Giving people options though. I did just make this one which is now the one going in my MJ to reduce all off the switches I don't have purpose for and get my 12v socket back. Don't tell anyone though, I haven't announced it. I've probably been too busy making things for my own good. https://www.mickofalltrades.com/product/2574/ -
Console pocket switch panel

So the answer is yes with a small caveat. The stock switches have 2 side tabs that make it really snug. You could file it down a hair or file the switch panel where it rubs. Or as I did in this case, support the back side of the panel and push it in. -

Let me dig one up and I'll check. -
I know you expressed interest in the cell mount I just finished this option. https://www.mickofalltrades.com/product/2574/ Otherwise I should have a gauge only one made today and ready tomorrow.

This panel replaces the console pocket at the front of your center console providing utility to the space. It fits 4 Carling Contura style switches Has its own mount that doesn’t damage the console or its trim. Made with ABS plastic Can be painted as needed Switches not included. Orders may have a lead time as I build up stock, I will email an ETA. As always use comancheclub for 10% off and I'd appreciate any pictures if you order one.

I was thinking of doing it offset but maybe a half inch lower than the one with rockers. I think offset will make it look more natural but too much and it leaves a lot of blank space. I can make one exactly like that for you if you want if you don't like the half inch lower.

Pretty cool, I'm happy with my Atlas, but would probably go that route if I had to do it again. They are priced about the same. As far as his complaints on his atlas rubbing. Nothing a little tranny tunnel massage can't fix.

Sure, you want the gauge dead center?
-
Not the final but I think I have about .02 " of extra space to play with between switch , gauge bezel and dash bezel.
