  1. I'm going to make a new list of parts I am looking for since things have changed some.
  2. I have the one from my idiot light cluster, I am fairly certain its in near perfect or perfect condition if you are still looking
  3. Looks like a mud flap and possibly the tailgate bumps? Not 100% sure though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I don’t know if I missed it, but what’s the reason for the new windshield? And why put in a 97 windshield? Just curious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I love the rustoleum spray on Bedliner. Holds up pretty good. Did my sliders, 3 link, bumpers, trailer, and more with it. you can kind of see the texture in this picture, it’s still wet so that’s why it looks blotchy, but it’s good stuff. The regular stuff is better than the “professional” stuff in my opinion.
  6. I agree with not ripping apart Comanches if possible. Cherokees are much more abundant and had a few better options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. This won’t fix your issues, but will improve power. You can get an ecu out of an 89-90 xj or mj and it’ll add a few ponies. Just figured I’d mention it since this is a thread about power, I’m also having running issues, but I haven’t solved anything much yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for the replies, hopefully my little projects will turn out as well as yours! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Did you just cut the shape and then cover it and it just slides back there behind the b pillar plastic? Mine never had one and I’ve never seen one in person so I’m not 100% sure how they mount. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You wouldn’t happen to have any measurements or anything? I need to make one, but I wasn’t sure what to use for the board. Any tips or tricks for making one would be much appreciated! Also, do you remember how much resin you used on your headliner? I just got one and it needs some help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I like that rear slider a lot better than mine. What brand is that? Mine hangs out the back of the jeep. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Got a new face to put on, and one of the bumper mounts from the parts jeep happened to be a tow hook so now it’ll have a tow point in the front, not that it will need it hopefully. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I think that’s the place I’m going to try. I had my mom send me a picture of the latch, and I think the metal one in that link looks closest, but it appears to be riveted on, so I’m not sure what to do about that. I’m worried drilling out the rivets and replacing with screws I may hit the glass inside the frame at some point in the process and crack it. Maybe I’m just being too paranoid. pictures I have of the window and latch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Well i called a few places that were supposed to have rear windows. Only found one place within a couple hour drive of me with a rear window. They had two of the 4 pane windows which I believe means they’re aftermarket, and both have broken latches, but they’re local and I can afford them so I’m going to get one. Now does anyone know where to get s replacement latch for one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Well I may be able to get my hands on a factory 3 pane slider. So should I find a factory fixed, factory 3 pane, or aftermarket 4 pane? Do sliders tend to leak, or allow easier entry for someone trying to break in? Never had a truck let alone a truck with a sliding rear window before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Anyone else have an opinion on the matter? A friend also suggested plexiglass instead of real glass Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Got the front end pulled apart, fenders I pushed on and got them back straight, header panel, radiator, grill, bumper and the turn signals on the front are toast. Gonna bend the bumper tabs back straight in a little bit then just need to get parts for it. Definitely would have been totaled by insurance, but I have liability only and plan to fix it myself so I guess it doesn’t matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I need a new rear window for my Comanche. The factory fixed glass shattered and I see the 4 pane rear windows online, haven’t found a fixed glass one yet, but I’m sure they’re out there. Just wondering pros and cons of each and whether install is doable myself or if I should have someone install it. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Well the Comanche was wrecked tonight, so for now the progress will be put on hold and I will drive my Cherokee till I can afford to fix the Comanche. I believe it can be fully repaired, but won’t know for sure till I dig into it. Still moves under its own power, and I can’t see any buckling in the frame or inner fenders. Seems the bumper brackets bent/broke and pushed the bumper into the fenders and the grill and header panel took some of the blow. It did bust the radiator though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The muffler blew apart sometime driving it today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Easier around campus. Commuter car parking is a 15 minute walk if you can find a spot in a decent amount of time. My bike I can park within a 2 minute walk of any of my classes. I just didn’t really care to ride it back in the cold weather if I don’t have to, a 5 minute ride to campus is much different than an hour ride to school when it’s 30* Also, I had my girlfriend drove my Cherokee back home for me last semester and I rode my motorcycle and she doesn’t know how to drive stick so it would make getting my truck and bike to school harder. 22. loaded up and ready to head back to college. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Got the panels welded in. I still have stuff on the fire wall I didn’t have time to completely do. I painted everything and sealed everything best I could. Definitely less road noise and more heat staying in. I’d like to tear it apart when I have a lot of time and get it done better, but I stopped as much of the rust as I could. I got the master replaced and I think my cat is bad. I hear a rattle coming from that area now and then, and it seems to lack highway power and get less than optimal gas mileage. Doing plugs, wires, cap and rotor helped a lot though. Still doesn’t like to do 70+ on the highway. Occasionally having to shift to 3rd to keep up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Not sure how to repair this rust spot. Honestly don’t think I can without removing the dash and I’m not sure if I have the time to get it out and back in before going back to college. This fuse box is soaked in brake fluid and it’s really just getting destroyed. Neglect is a terrible thing. Also the new duracrap master cylinder is leaking after 200 or so miles. 25. Check the female part of the fuse box, one half of my fuse holder kinda broke some so I had to add solder to the fuse to make it fatter and make contact with the prongs (yes I know it’s not a good fix, but I don’t have time to redo the fuse box at the moment.)
