... Re : Sway Bars Front/Rear Are you running Greaseable Bushings on both ? I noticed that the Addco 7/8" Rear Sway Bar Kit #468 talks about longer End Links for lifts. Does Addco sell those, also ? I did not find those??? but it was way, way too late and the Mockingbird was starting to sing, again. "...I wanna go home to the Armadillo. " youngfred

... Removed the rear trim panel with this : The panels were held in-place by 'retainers' which are the ribbed press-on interior screws. This is how the interior looked when the truck first, came in. youngfred

Permanent Fuel Rail Pressure Gauge
youngfred replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
... I want to incorporate this, on to my build. Because this Thread goes back to 2008. I am wondering how the gauge has held up, throughout time, with under-the-hood conditions. ((OMGosh), Is that a Crack I see ???) Thanks. youngfred -

... On my 69 el Camino, I wired a switch, in-line with the HEI Distributor's - +12v. wire that ran to the Ignition Switch. Inside the cab, I installed a 1/4" jack, like those used on the old headphones from that 'other world'(analog-a). Thieves look for a switch or something that moves. The 1/4" Female Jack is flat, so trying to feel around for a switch, the flat Female Jack will be bypassed. My keychain would separate in half with the push of a button, so My Key was the 1/4" Male Plug that had the two leads Soldered together, internally, in order to complete the circuit, when the ignition switch was used. Without the 1/4" male plug installed into the jack, the motor would turn but no power got to the distributor. I always worried about - current draw, through the 1/4" Plug/Jack circuit which was set up for audio circuits but it was never a problem. I never lost the elky. youngfred

... There were three Eskimos in Alaska, and one time while they were at their local bar, they got to talking about how cold it was outside, and how cold their igloos were. They could agree on everything but whose igloo was the coldest, so they decided to determine who, indeed, had the coldest igloo. They went to the first Eskimo's igloo, where he said "Watch this!" and poured a cup of water into the air. Well, the water froze in mid-air and fell onto the floor solid. "Not bad" said the other Eskimos, but each maintained their igloo was colder still. So they went to the second Eskimo's igloo, and he said "Watch this!" and took a big breath and exhaled, whereupon his breath froze into a big lump and fell to the floor. "Wow, that's colder than mine!"said the first Eskimo. But the third Eskimo exclaimed his was colder still. So they ended up at the third Eskimo's igloo. He said "Watch this!" and went into the bedroom, looked under three huge black thick furs, and retrieved one of several small balls of ice there. He took one of the small balls of ice and put it in a spoon, and held a match under it. When it heated up enough, it went "FFFAAAARRRRTTT". source: http://www.jokebuddha.com/Colder#ixzz52rzf5aLD youngfred
