Why not just make wine its alot easyer and safer. You can only get three results with wine. The best result will be good tasting wine, poor results will be bad tasting wine (still gets you drunk), and worst results you will get vinager.

you can probably trade that roll bar for a good bed and then trade the tail gate to someone for a roll bar. and if you have a good bumper the sky is the limit. :cheers:

I have a Shindaiwa 488 thats about 5 years old and am very happy with it. it always starts on the first pull unless it has been sitting for a while and then it will start on the second or third pull. It has good power an 18" bar with .325 anti kick back chain. I also like the stihl and husky's but you will save some money with the Shindaiwa and in my opinion a great saw much better than the polan.

The grill looks the same but the newer grill has the trim that goes above and below the grill opening made to it instead of attached to the header panel. If you use the newer grill you will also need to use the newer head light surrounds. I personaly like the newer set up better it has alot fewer parts. Also the jeep on the top of the headerpanel is glued on instead of the nuts that hold the older one on and the letters are shaped a little different.

If your going to do stuff like that use the front end, those parts are much easyer to find.

Its not a problem on the rim as much as it is when using a spacer.

Are those wheels from a 2007 or newer wrangler? if so I think the bolt pattern is wrong. Just check it before you mount new tires on them. You can probably buy adapters to make them fit but the good ones are not cheap.

You can also rent a tow dolly from UHAUL for arund $65.00 (last time I checked) keep in mind you will need to drive a little slower than with a trailer and you probably need to unhook the drive shaft. Good Luck

should an 89 have light in the ac/heater control pannel? yep on the top right side one small bulb.

when I purchased my MJ I had no dash lights and I found every bulb was bad including the AC/heater controll panel.

Where are you located? I have a 2wd front axle you can have free of charge if you are close to Charlotte nc. Just thought you may want something to cut and weld on without damaging your stock axle. I will be trashing it soon so let me know if you want it.

Semi floating can be 8 bolt hub also.

I just got my mj on the road this week and I'm working the bugs out. The engine runs good and pulls strong but has a rattle in the top end at higher rpms (around 3,000 up). And only while on the gass if you let up and let the engine slow the truck down it stops. It does not sound like a bearing or a piston slapping. It sounds like the valves are loose. Has anyone had a similar problem or have any ideas? I have run seafoam thru the engine and changed the oil to 10w40 penn. As far as I can tell from the shop book you cannot adjust the valves. When I have time I plan on pulling the valve cover to check things out. Thanks

Has any one relocated the stock flag style mirrors forward so they are in the same location as the mirrors that mount to the corner of the window? I hate the stock location but was not sure if this will help or look stupid. I also thought that it my be better than the early cherokee mirrors because I can fold them in on the trail.

It had front tow hooks but I didnt have a torx bit to remove them i'll see if they are still there when I go back. I didnt look at the gear ratios but it had a non disconnect front axle I may check out the rear axle for limited slip while I am there. (I'm doing a 4wd swap)

I found an 88 cherokee inthe pull a part today with a front steel skid plate. It looks stock and is in perfect shape so I took it ($15.00). Is this a stock part or something someone added. Never seen one on other cherokees or Comanches. But mine has one now.

When I opened my hood today the engine was cold and the top radiator hose was sucked shut. I released the suction from the coolant tank. My question is why did it hold a vaccum when the water cooled down? I didnt think the cap would let it. Is it a problem or is it the nature of the beast?

I get it, I was thinking he was going to try and install a leafpack not an AAL. my bad.
