  3. I found It at Advance Auto Parts the part number I used was 03269. I had to use an 89 Cherokee to look it up for some reason they don't show it under an 88 Comanche or Cherokee. I have installed it and it fits fine.

  5. You can get vinyl, plastic paint at the autoparts store. I changed my interior from butterscotch to grey two years ago and its holding up well. I even painted the seat belts and thats working too.

  9. Quick Question. Does the vinyl floor have the padded backing on it like the factory ones did, or is it just vinyl? Sorry :hijack: ACC does come with the padding, It does keep the heat out pritty well, but the fit of the mat is terrible. If I could do it over again I would not have waisted my money.
  10. I have a one piece from the trans all the way to to the dash. I think the two piece was for cruse controll that I don't have. I found a part number for an 89 cherokee thats the one piece but I'm not sre if it works on a 4WD or RWD or both. I will try to get some pictures and a length. Thanks, Steve

  14. Does anyone have a source for a speedometer cable? Dealer is discontinued and the only ones I can find on line are for RWD. I have a n 88, 4.0, 5speed, 4WD. Thanks,
  15. NO if he was he would not have had to open the door he could have just stuck his feet through the floor.
  16. I have a 3" lift and thats all i used. It came with a braket to relocate the rear brake line so the original would work. I also drilled the mounting bracket to relocate the track bar. The sway bar links and the LCA's worked fine and I had the front end aligned and everything came out good.
  17. The switch is on the parking brake pedal no cable required for the light to come on.
  18. When I first got my own insurance policy our agent broke my policy away from my parents so it showed I had the policy for as long as my parents instead of brand new policy. This saved alot of money but that was 18 years ago and I don't know if things work like that anymore.
  19. I saw an MJ sitting on I-77 in NC at mile marker 75 this week is it anyone on here and do you need help? It's been there a few days now and i'm sure it will be towed soon.
  20. Has anyone installed a mechanical temp gauge in a 4.0? the port in the head is too small as well as the drain in the block. I picked up an HO thermostat housing planning to use that port as its the correct size but the the hole is too shollow for the sensor. Thanks,
  21. There should be a plastic piece that holds the end of the sun visors. I think there are two different visors short and long. My 88 has the same hole.
  22. Thanks for checking. I found a good deal on a new grant wheel and needed to know how much smaller it was before i buy it. The grant wheelis only 13.5" and i think ill pass on it as thats a little too small.
  23. Can someone put a tape on a stock steering wheel for me I need to know the out side diameter of the wheel. I have an 88 with the black thick two spokes for lack of a better discription but its not around at this time so I can't measure it myself. Is the three spoke wheel the same diameter? Thanks,
