I had the only one outside of Rob's for a few months, but lately there's been 3-4 of 'em in town on a pretty steady basis. At least mine's the least rusty and the only one sitting at an absurd angle :yes:

Hey Rob, what are your plans for the '92, donor truck?

It's been a while, haven't done much to my MJ lately aside from finally sending it to the shop to have the fuel pump situation fixed because I need to be able to drive my daily driver. Had to run a new power wire, Advance Auto sold me the wrong pump, and had to have the sending unit repaired - $480 after all was said and done, wish I could've put it towards other things, but hey, crap happens. On the upside, I now have a new tank and fuel pump, as well as a like new sending unit, and the Jeep runs a lot better, now if only I could keep the birds from crapping on it... lol School's done for now, so I can start putting some money into the Jeep. New adjustable trackbar, 3" lift for the front (for now) new paint job, rockers, rear tube bumper and a revamped front bumper are in the works, along with redoing the bed lining - the current cheap spray-on bedliner is flaking off, just wanted it to last thru the winter to help keep the rust away and do it better in the spring anyway so I guess you could say it was just a test run

I'm game for an LKQ run (third time's a charm, I hope) Jeep's runnin right and I can drive so any weekend aside from May 15th and 30th will work for me

I was driving yesterday when I realized that my left turn signal wasn't working, no matter how many times or how long I left it on, it just wouldn't light up (front or back) It did this before, but just occasionally at night with my lights on, now it happens day or night, without fail. My right turn signals work just fine, any ideas? thanks guys

This past summer I totalled my '97 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi and immediately started lookin for a new vehicle, I was torn between getting a truck and getting a Jeep (I've had the Jeep bug since my uncle taught me how to drive stick in his '94 Wrangler) When I got a text from my buddy saying that Jeep made a TRUCK it was all over, I hadn't even seen it and I wanted it, hahaha! A couple weeks later I bought that '88 SporTruck 4.0 SWB 4x4 through my buddy for $1500, turns out I actually bought it from Rob!

The duplicolor spray liner is good, need a few coats tho, mine's peeling already. Found some auto underbody coating that's thicker for half the price at Farm & Fleet. Sorry to hijack the thread there guys

Huh??? Is that some sort of graduated liscense thing?? or is there something else involved here??? I have had ALOT of accidents and never lost my liscense... I've only been in the two accidents (one the summer after I turned 18, the other a few months ago) and I never heard of this law/sanction/thing before, then all the sudden I get a letter in the mail almost three months after the fact saying I get my license suspended for a month cuz of that accident, one of those WTH?!?! moments. I gotta' take a class and pay to get the license back so the state gets $140 minus the 44 cents it takes to send my license back to me, friggin lame if you ask me. and Brent, unfortunately it was with the truck, but it just popped the bumper off and messed up the header panel. It's pretty much fixed now tho, put a new header panel on and it's a good excuse to get/make a new tube bumper :yes:

Got some bad-ish news guys, got in an accident a month or so ago and just found out yesterday that b/c it's my second accident in two years I lose my license for a month starting 3/29, it's like the state doesn't want me coming to the meet 'n greet, just kiddin, good news is some of my buddies can drive stick so my MJ should still be making an appearance at LKQ still just with me in the passenger's seat :roll: I've decided nothing's keepin me from missin this meet 'n greet tho! :yes:
