Yup me too, But until somebody makes a set of SWB bedsides I will have to purchase the LWB sides and cut them to fit :wrench: Gotta love limited production 20+yr old rigs. Mike

Nope your not missing anything, Unless you didn't notice the fact they are for long bed trucks ? ? ? Mike

If you have a short bed ya won't find any, Few places have long bed panels but not many. There is little after market support for the MJ-Comanche body repair wise, lots of support on the parts that interchange with the XJ-Cherokee ;-) Mike

So dose this mean a wider rear would match the front ? Is the front wider ? ? How about 6lug/5lug ? ? ? Issue . . . 6lug/6lug would be cool make it look more HD-ish ;-) Mike

Ok after some rest a mental reboot: Isn't the FSJ-20 like 58" ish wide ? The MJ-20 is 54" wide, it was only used in 86' and only in the 1ton MJ's . . . Trying to find another rig's AMC-20  A 58" AM-20 would just push the rear wheels out a bit 2" on each side I got wheel well room if need be I'll swap the Comanche flares for the Bush whacker flares  The snag in the FSJ-20 is 6lug hubs could those be swapped to 5 lug ? Or dose a 6lug straight front axle exist ? ? ? Well I suppose the front axle on my MJ is just a hollow tube I guess it could be cut and stretched much easier then a rear end cut n sleeved or cut n tube in a tube  ? ? ? Basically a wide track MJ-Comanche. Mike

The AMC-20 I have measures just shy of 47" flang to flang but it is defiantly SUA configured ! Its to narrow, So have it chopped and stretched ? Then buy MJ axle shafts ? ? You can talk 60" 20's all day long the MJ axle is 54" I measured it 3 times the D35 under my MJ right now is 54" wide ! ! ! The AMC-20 I bought for $150 is shy of 47" ! ! ! Boss lady is NOT happy with me :( Mike

Backing plate to backing plate my D35 measured 54". I haven't measured the AMC-20 yet bit I don't have to its got 2 piece axles it won't work end of story . . . There is NO AMC-20 that interchanges directly except the MJ-20 end of story. The 58" unit will work it just pushes the wheels out ward 2" on each side easily fixed with bush wacker flares :thumbsup: The 58" was for the V8 Rambler american almost none left so not likely to be it. :wrench: I will have to see if the housing fits :wrench: If not I will have to get the tubes lengthed to spec them get the Moser axles for the MJ-20 :wrench: It can be made to fit if need be :thumbsup: other wiser I'll figure out what this one is and rebuild it and keep it :thumbsup: then keep looking for the MJ/XJ-20 :thumbsup: Mike

I guessed it was an MJ AMC-20, but I think the MJ-20 had solid axles and these appear to have a big nut on the ends. Making it a 2 piece axled unit . . . Either way I love AMC-20s so I'm happy with the purchase :cheers: Mike

Long trip from my house to yours I haven't done anything with it yet just snapped some photos and put it away. It looks a bit narrow might not be the right one :( But its still an AMC-20 at a decent price so I'm still happy even if it don't fit the MJ Mike

Ya it came with shafts/hub/backing plate/brake assembly every thing but the drums. Mike
