So I got my new gauge cluster ready and put back in. I have the new temperature sending unit and the oil pressure sending unit installed. I cranked the Jeep up and the oil pressure gauge came up, temperature gauge slowly came up, and the gas gauge went to about half way. Then after running for a minute, the gas gauge pegged out full. After I shut the vehicle off, the gauges didn't come back down. The temperature and gas gauges stayed right where they were; the oil pressure gauge came back down some, but that's it. Here is what it looks like with the Jeep off: What would cause this?

Got my '97 style Ebay mirrors. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do about the space where the old ones were mounted.

I got mine today. Not too bad. They are very light weight, but I don't know what the OEM ones feel like, so I have nothing to compare them to. So far I'm satisfied.

That's great! Now I just have to find those pieces. Are the AX-15 pieces different than the Peugot components or are they interchangeable?

Making some progress: Hopefully, it can be finished tomorrow. Mirrors are coming tomorrow and the stereo should be here in a day or two.

I took out my whole interior, but I think you can just remove the kick panels and lower rocker panels. The piece that was the biggest pain for me was the firewall padding. It was difficult for me to move it out of the way enough to inspect the entire driver side firewall. I didn't feel like taking out the dash, so I just cut it in a few key places.

I had this happen in another vehicle. It was an intake manifold leak.

I need to get all the linkage components for my 4wd swap, but I really don't know what I'm looking for. I pulled what I could out of an '89 auto, but mine will be an AX-15. Does anyone have pictures of the different components or a diagram so that I can assess what I have?

I've heard good things about U-pol Raptor. That's what I'm going to try on my TJ tub when it gets warmer.

Well, the floor has been trimmed and the new pan is going in tomorrow morning. Here's one last shot of the Flintstone mobile: I decided to go ahead and start upgrading my audio, so I ordered some new speakers. Pioneer TS-A4672R & TS-D502P: I hooked them up and with the factory stereo, they kinda sounded like garbage. So, I'm going to order a new head unit tonight. Oh, I sold my car (extra cash for the MJ), but they guy paid me in $100s and a TJ: I'll be fixing this one up and reselling it so I'll have more money for the MJ and my other TJ.

Shipping will be about $15. Since I took so long to get back to you, name what you think is a fair price and they're yours.

I have a header panel that is slightly cracked across the top, but can be repaired. I have a bench seat back too(I stole the mounts for my bucket seats). I think there is a bench in the Comanche at the Pull a Part, could be a good option for you.

Mine has actually left California according to UPS.

Mine shipped yesterday and should be here Tuesday. Fingers crossed that they're right.

crap... :doh: Well, maybe I'll have better luck than you. We only have one pull a part and its rare that they get newer XJ stuff. This is the second set of mirrors I've bought. The first ones I paid $20 for and they were broken, so I'm really hoping these are right.

I'd like mine to sit just like that when I'm done. What kinda lift do you think that is?

Here's a stupid question: how do you remove the trim? I don't know how it comes off and I don't want to break it.

I picked up a set at the pull a part from an 89 and they weren't the same as what was in my 90. If you can take a picture of your passenger one, I can tell you if mine are the same. I've got matching visors too if you need them.

My horn is already plugged in and this plug is on the passenger side.

I had my grill off and found these two different plugs (only one of each). Are either for factory fog lights? If not, what are they for?
