i had this problem once before but it went away so i forgot about it. my 88 runs great in the rain, while raining, running through puddles, etc. once i leave it out overnight, instead of garaging it, it won't start. i think condensation is getting somewhere, but don't know where. i turned the key to turn on fuel pump, then checked to see if there is fuel (that air fitting looking thing) and fuel is squirting out so I'm good there. when i had the problem before, i changed my dc and rotor thinking that was it, it was old and needeed replacement but it is obviously not the problem. now, i know about the coil (replaced), and the insane amount of wires there right by the coil, noticed they were a little, and i mean a little moist, so i put a hair dryer on there for a while, i even took off coil and dc to get more heat in there. nothing yet... +++++++time lapse @ 10 mins++++++++ :popcorn: went outside after typing this and i got a "sputter"....almost started letting it charge and dry for another 10.... :banana: started after i let it crank for @ 15 seconds. any ideas on what this might be? thanks! I don't understand how these bugs r getting in ur trucks? Is there half eatwn mcdonalds on the floor or something? The only bug ive ever seen is the occasional one that flew in the window while driving...

i replaced my tie rods and ends with a 97 grand cherokee 8 cyl... :banana: and got the whole thing, (i couldnt get pitman arm....no puller)...for $23.00, after pulling 1 that had bad boots that i seen AFTER i pulled it :nuts: guess you live and learn everythings almost done in my front end :thumbsup:

naaa, ill look there tho thanks i got a buddy who works in a steel fab shop, where i worked for 10+ years, and he went to art school....so, i asked him to fab a bumper for me and the plans he drew up were crazy....it would of been the picasso of bumpers....lol ill try to get a pic of them for you guys! I'm trying to get pics for him of more what I'm looking for.

i ripped out the radiator for the ac, and the ac condenser, hoses etc.... perfect temp now. i think the rad was blocking the air?????? it WAS all crapped up..... :wavey:

What parts need to come off? lca, end link? :dunno: I don't have a spring comp either, so how would i go about doing it?

A cheap lift....coil spacers for the front, add a leaf spring in the rear...sheesh, yor post looks like u got alot done so far, waiting for pics..oh yeah, welcome

Thats funny. the goverment gets tons of letters like that a day, I'm sure the news channels do too. Hey, here's a thought......maybe shes right???????? And were all here laughing about it.....hmmmmmmm Ive seen crazier things happen :nuts:
