How much fuel did you have? Stupid question I know, but I'm wondering if your not running out of fuel. Also how's the ground at the dip stick tube, you could be moving the tube just enough to complete the ground. The only other thing I have is check the air filter and see if it's coated in oil

Check for power on both sides of the turn fuse with the fuse in, if power there, is there power at the turn signal flasher

I mean how its way past full, that usually means the sender side is grounded out IIRC, which is why I was wondering how you plugged it in.

The fuel gauge on both look funky, on the 3/4 it looks like it didn't get plugged in straight, they are a bit finicky to get it plugged in straight.
