  1. There are a couple of guys that I work with , but my numbers are at work I'll pm you . Check w/your local body and paint shops , they usually use a couple of local outsourced type upholstery shops . Lots of different fabric selections to choose from .Get that custom look . Dave M.
  2. The upholstery shops are the best bet for getting what you want . Find a guy thats local and does his own work . From what I was told , as long as you have the seat frame , they can fab. almost anything . I'm adding 1" of foam at the sides of the seat for more of a race bucket style seat . :brows:
  3. :agree: Graphite lube works well . I've used chain lube as well , that stuff sticks to anything .
  4. Fercheesy my greezy;s  :chillin:

I understand Jimoshel !! I understand !! So now only the rich elderly can get health care ? Better start saving now for that knee replacement !!
  6. Dig the pool ball , I used a real ball as well . I have a spare NFL edition cue ball I'll bring out for special occ. Cheap too !! I think mine was 22$ on sale . :peek: Dave M.
  7. :dunce: Alert!!! Sorry " Rob what company was RRO ??
  8. Also look into beefing up your doors and windows . There are allot of products that can keep them out . Dead bolts, Lock bars and thicker materials , ie; solid door more or better hinges ext. They start getting expensive but its worth the piece of mind and family safety . With windows there are products that work like window tint made by, Lexan and 3M that will be tough to get through . Cheep and effective !! I agree there should be allot of thought before buying a firearm . Might even look at taser guns used by police officers . I've seen many a big dude dance the funky chicken , one blasted with one of those things. Allot of police around here have started using them instead !!
  9. What did I get ?? Woken up at 5 am , Got a workout from putting all the presents in the truck ! A bickering from the wife , A well deserved cup of coffee , A headache putting all the kids toy's together , A nap , and a bad@ss Alpinestars riding hoodie . Bought a bumper myself for the jeep . All together a great Holiday spent w/some peeps .
  10. Damd!!! And here I thought Smokey and the Bandit's Trans-am was that Bad@ss !!!
  11. :agree: With CW . As an Expert marksman , I would set a regiment . Training , training , training !! Handgun safety courses are a must !! Rifles are better but your never going to have it when you need it . Having weapons lying around isn't any better . The criminal will find it , and use it on you . My advise is to look at the .357 -.40 cal , There are plenty of options . My wife couldn't charge my .40's slide , so we looked at the new glock .357 , The action is like butter . Way better than anything I carry . Don't ever use a .22-.380 auto unless you have to . Just look at 50 cent . Sill breathing after 15 rounds hit him in vital areas . Stupid gangsters , the tech 9 is for people who can't hit there target . Pussies"!! If the M.F'er is still in the house , swiss cheese that pansy . I use Ballistic hollow points , for that extra get-r-done . Here on the mountain , we don't play . Now its make my day for business's as well . So bring it PACO !! Hope your family has enough stolen $#!& laying around the house , to buy you a tombstone . Dave M. U.S ARMY AIRBORNE INF. One shot , one kill , Oh what a thrill .
  12. :rotfl2: Yeah , I'm just going step by step on what worked for me . I think the cursing , helps speed up the process . Brake cleaner works the same . Almost the same chemicals . smells Identical . Keep in mind , my door panels had stain and paint all over the door . Looked like willy didn't make it to the outhouse . :ack: Dave M.
  13. I think the silver gold color was titanium gold , I went to the local paint shop for a bike I was painting . They matched the paint perfectly even w/ Honda racing colors . I also upgraded to PPG . paints . Way better polish and durability . My paint hasn't faded yet even in our high UV soaked sunlight . Everything w/ clearcoat is gone in a matter of 10 years around here . No rust just bad paint!! Dave M.
  14. :agree: I had a dana 44 go out on me , sounded like the New York symphony's percussion section back there !!
  15. Welcome ' to looney land . I waste all my time here . I used a photobucket.com account to upload my pics . Took me a while to learn , but it's a cinch. :chillin: Dave M.
  16. Cool , CW , nice find , I like riveted panel look . Gives that nice military hardcore look !!
  17. Looks titty's !! You work fast !
  18. :agree: I could see why he would want that much for a completely rebuilt rear , but its haggard . I'll dump the money in the one I've have now !
  19. The guy wants 500.00 cold !! I don't know if thats worth it ? It looks to be in the same condition mine is in , ( needing rebuilt ) so I think I'll stick w/ the xj d 44 .
  20. Oh' Wow , there's a club for us ? I'm in , I think the hat goes good w/ my hair !!!
  21. Its an AMC 20 for a mj . Not a J20 , sorry , I was misrepresented . Again here's me : :dunce:
  22. It is a C20 !! Here's me again : :dunce:
  23. Aaahhhh!!! Thats what I was looking for . I knew the 44 was good , but I'm not that tech'y . Thanks !!
  24. Thats what I thought ! Isn't the 44 easy to find replacement parts for , long term !! I have no idea of the splines. My dana 44 was out of a 89 xj W / towing pack. I thought it was stock at first, but after more inspection , I found the mounts had orig. been sprung over .
  25. I have a chance to get my hands on a AMC j20 4.10 geared comanche rear end !! I haven't ever even seen one of these . the guy thats selling it says its better than my dana 44 ?? What would it take to match the gearing on my dana 30 front . Is that possible or even a good idea ?? I heard the J20 rear end was used on 4 cyl. comanches . Its still sprung under and everything looks like it will bolt right up .
