  2. SYE kits says it fits np231 from 1987-2006. They don’t have two separate kits for 87-92/93-06. the hole machined on the tailhousing is exact same size for both mechanical & electric speedos.
  3. I got a bunch of 96+ cores and bored them out. so yes they are now available
  4. Yeah it need to be moved slightly. I ll definitely need another one.
  5. So I bored it to slightly over 60mm and I guess the wall is too thin. Maybe it’s slightly off center I ll investigate. i managed to finish boring and then grind out the slot on the shaft to accept the bigger plate. ya know those 91+ TBs I have been boring out? The OEM butterfly plates from those fit perfectly. Maybe I should tone it down and bore out to 59.5mm instead and then sand the butterfly plate round the edge.
  6. I think I may need another renix TB. Lol.
  7. If it’s an automatic then it’s an AW4.
  8. I’m working on making a jig for the renix TB as we speak.
  9. I have one for 91-92 4.0L ready to go. (Technically it can also be for 91-95 in XJ/YJ platform & 93-95 ZJ platform).
  10. I put a 242 behind my ax15 in my 99 XJ couple years ago. I loved the combination I decided I’m gonna do the same for my MJ. Not that hard to do, really.
  11. Tailgate look pretty good.
  12. Grab it
  13. Anybody know where I can find another grommet for the floor on the back? (There’s wiring going into there from the fuel pump harness. Not sure what those would be for. And if the knockout hole next to it would also be the same size and I can use the same grommet on that hole? I'm trying to wire in a new circuit in that hole.
  14. Indeed I also noticed that those smooth TBs doesn’t have mopar part numbers on the IAC housings. Makes me wonder if they were aftermarket replacements?
  15. Out of 4 throttle bodies I had. (One ribbed 91-95, two smooth 91-95, and one 96+) they all had different numbers stamped on the bottom even between two identical smooth 91-95 TBs.
  16. Right. I wanted to know why it changed and when was the change taken effect. On what years and what jeep model.
  17. That’s right I mean I knew that 96-04 had same TBs with MAP mount on the side. its the two different 91-95 TBs that had me wondering why one is smooth and another is ribbed.
  18. I had my hands on so many throttle bodies over the years. Probably over 200 of them. AND I just recently actually noticed this.... for 91-95 HO engines. There’s two types of throttle bodies and I can’t figure out why there is a difference. Theres the smooth and the ribbed. (No I'm not talking about condoms lol. I’m wondering why there’s a difference? Perhaps it’s early HO such as 91-92 then there’s 93-95? (I just came up with the numbers). Or is it a vehicle specific? Such as XJ/MJ?
  19. I already got rid of my 91 MJ 2wd ax15 But it was missing the driveshaft and rear axle so I’m sorry I couldn’t help ya out in that department.
  20. Definitely not a dana 60
