  1. Never remove an oil filter adapter and reinstall it without new seals.
  2. It's all good. Congrats.
  3. Teehee. Works well, doesn't it? Advance mod fools the ECU and it gives you more advanced ignition timing. I've never seen more than .8 output. What did you do????? Start a bit quicker?
  4. If the plastic line from the throttle body to MAP sensor on the firewall is compromised in any way, the system will go full rich.
  5. 91 and later. For about $6 you can buy a different nipple for your Renix and use the later filters. 53007563AB is the part number for the nipple. .
  6. Should be 31 and 39. What brand of stat? I don't like Bosch O2 sensors. NTK is good.
  7. Renix is very different and has a heater already. Kind of an odd duck.
  8. Here. Do the things recommended first before replacing any sensors. Search "cruiser's mostly renix tips"
  9. Heats up the oxygen sensor. Closest relay to the radiator. Did you pull the relays and clean everything up when doing the connector refreshing?
  10. Glad to hear of the improvement. Make sure your intake manifold bolts haven't loosened up and that the small tube from the intake to rear of valve cover isn't carboned up. What kind of "play" in the dizzy? Might wanna read Tip # 13 in the meantime.
  11. The one in every one of my posts, plus it's there twice in the post above. You on the app or something?

  13. 31 is fine. Why not click on my link below and do post 3 just for fun? Post 2 because it's an 87.
  14. Has 4 pin square connector.......Different animal. Indeed, but if one can figure out said 4 wires and their functions, some creative wiring may get the connector to work, which would be cool for us 2.5 guys, because, well, finding 2.5 Renix stuff is a PITA! See post 7. That connector is as common as belly buttons.
  15. Too weird. Anyone ever change the connector or splice wires near the engine side of the tPS?
  16. Tapered pipe threads. Remove, clean, and put some Permatex #2 on the threads. Reinstall.
  17. He said highway driving 80%. 3.55s will be just fine....
  18. Yup, most likely.
  19. The one that does, with different colors, needs to be soldered together. In other words, if there was a connection before, it needs to be a connection now, regardless of color.
  20. After having many 4.0 MJs, I was concerned about 3.55s in my newly acquired 2.5 truck. It was fine with the 235s.
  21. Very good.
  22. Yep^^. And also click on the link in my signature. Go to post 3 and check out the lighting connector pictured there.
  23. I had the 3.54 rear axle in my 86 MJ 2.5 4 speed on 235/75/15 tires, at 5000 foot elevation, and it was fine.
  24. Has 4 pin square connector.......Different animal.
