  1. Remove the air cleaner box and use extensions.
  2. Pretty sure most all are the same. AMC is same as GM for sure.
  3. You can do valve seals without moving the head. I've done it.
  4. There are other ways to skin this cat. A block off plate would be good for other areas. We need to find one to buy. As for Cali Crap, there are other ways to work around....
  5. IIRC, that setup was used on vehicles with dealer installed air conditioning.
  6. Don't buy me Bud Light please. On a "lighter" note, there has to be an off the shelf EGR block off plate for those without the ability to make one.
  7. Are you gonna pull the head? It likely needs valve seals.
  8. The hose from the intake manifold to MAP sensor? Any vacuum leak there will tell the fuel injection system to add more fuel.
  9. Or, it could be leaking injectors. Not holding pressure after the Jeep is shut off and requiring the fuel pump priming you've been performing.
  10. sure. Actually the lower bolts hold both intake and exhaust manifolds.

  13. check this out. I cut a big one in half. It's basically 2 small cannisters in one. And, the "good" half of the can still works.

  17. Take the belt off and turn the pulleys. Inspect the harmonic balancer and see if it is separating.
