  1. @eaglescout526 Nice job on proving out CTS and WOT switches. I think my testing flaw came with leaving the ECU connected to the harness. Lesson learned.
  2. No, its a question for the world.
  3. Question for INJ NOID LIGHT user. Does NOID LIGHT dim or flicker during engine CRANK? 2.5L
  4. Maybe I need to look into my testing methods. But I still think both switches are bad. Try START with ISA and WOT disconnected.
  5. I thinking both switches are bad. Try to START vehicle with WOT switch disconnected.
  6. Understood, close enough. Let's look a WOT switch. Same test except use D2_6. Work lever on WOT.
  7. So its 11.8vdc all the time.
  8. Connect DVOM between B+ and D2_13. KEY OFF. Does voltmeter change state (0vdc or 12vdc) as you work the plunger in or out?
  9. Does the plunger on the tip of the ISA move in and out? Can you move it?
  10. @SoCalManche do you have a WOT switch?
  11. 87/88 show no power steering relay. Is it a 86 thing only?
  12. @eaglescout526 can you determine if ECU part numbers are different? Do they ask question w/WOT or w/PS.
  13. If you for TOPIC under the following, its gone RED HOT again. Home - Comanche Club Forums - MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
  14. That's when I first used the word "confusing".
  15. Other inputs determine when FP relay is activated. KEY ON will prime the pump. CRANK will keep FP relay activated. CPS will demand FP relay at all times.
  16. Pin 85 is strictly the grounding side for fuel pump relay (coil) control. Jumping pin 30 to 87 just does what the relay should do when controlled by the ECU.
  17. The difference between B and C on both connectors is about 5vdc.
  18. That ain't right. I need to chew on this for awhile.
  19. Both 86 & 87 show TPS wiper circuit as going to GND, but 88 has it as INPUT. 88 is correct physically.
  20. Between the three (3) schematic (86, 87 and 88), TPS is a mess for INPUT and GND circuits.
  21. Since I've got a 87/88 schematics and we're dealing with a 86, things are sketchy. Disconnect both TPS and MAP connectors. Connect DVOM to B- and on each connector one pin should have 5vdc on it. KEY ON. If true, note which pin_letter it on (A, B or C). One of the pins may show a lower voltage then that. Note which pin that is too.
  22. 5vdc supply on TPS and MAP, is that still in question?
  23. This month puts you on top of the pile. Nicely done.
  24. ECU are pricey, especially when it don't fix your problem.
