  1. I don't think so, not with 15psi.
  2. Good reading. Dimming makes you think INJ should be firing.
  3. Shouldn't noid light flicker during CRANK? Any good ground point will do.
  4. Its would be a quick test. Disconnect ECU connector. Check for voltage on T3 with KEY ON.
  5. My mistake, NOT T3, but T6. T3 would have IGN SW voltage on it.
  6. Pass on both VD test. Good readings.
  7. Try this voltage drop again. This time remove FP relay and install jumper wire (30-87).
  8. That's close enough. Need to take two (2) voltage drops. Connect DVOM as follows: Battery terminal plus (+) and D1_2. CRANK engine and take reading. Battery terminal plus (+) and D1_6. CRANK engine and take reading. Both readings should show 0vdc.
  9. Remove FP relay. Check FP relay block (86) for battery voltage with KEY ON. Same circuit as D1-2.
  10. Fuel pump relay block (86) is HOT with KEY ON or engine CRANKING.
  11. When ECU wants fuel pump relay ON, T3 will switch to ground. Internal to the ECU.
  12. Might be the angle of photo, seem a little far, but your on the correct side. Cap it and start it up.
  13. Rotor spins clockwise. If #1 cylinder is at TDC on the compression stroke, then trailing edge of rotor tip should be at or just pass your mark.
  14. CPS seem good. I might be barking up the wrong tree.
  15. Clutch stuff sometimes gets on the tip of the CPS. Only way to check this is to yank it. Not a easy task. Maybe put on hold until other things have checked out.
  16. That's kinda low borderline, but should be enough for a heartbeat. Is your vehicle a manual trans?
  17. Sorry for the confusion. Yes CPS installed using the CPS connector. Thanks for the correction. 0.5vac, not 2.5vac. One more checkpoint here. Connect CPS back to harness. Disconnect ECU connector, using pins 11 & 28 on the ECU connector, check VAC again while engine is CRANKING.
  18. All RENIX systems need a heartbeat. Check CPS using a voltmeter set to VAC lowest range available. Disconnect CPS, connect DVOM across component side connector (polarity doesn't matter). Looking for ≈2.5vac while CRANKING the engine.

Welcome to the forum. Great looking vehicle there. Looks like you've got a head start on the Comanche game. Can you do us a favor? SIGN-IN. Upper right hand of screen. Click on Username. Click on Account Settings. Find and click on Signature. Add vehicle information here (YR, ENG, TRANS, etc, etc) and save. This helps everyone. This information will be available every time you post.
  20. One more question, does the fuel pump motor run with the fuel pump relay installed? With KEY ON fuel pump will run for 2-3 seconds only and during CRANK fuel pump motor will run all the time.
  21. Yes there seems to be a difference, but I just don't understand what it could be.
  22. Under both conditions (relay/jumper wire) you added fuel to the TB?
  23. That confusing since jumper wire is acting like a relay would. So with relay in, truck will START and RUN when fuel is added to TB, but will START and not RUN when fuel is added to TB using the jumper wire.
