  1. A whole lot of hockey pucks lined in a row.
  2. what does interco say about the 38.5x15.5 's? i mounted them on 7" wide wheels and they kicked @$$ down to 8 psi For your humour: According to Interco Tire, the 38x15.50R16.5LT Super Swamper Radial TSL should be mounted on a 9.75-12 inch wide rim. I agree on running narrow rims to keep a bead, but I'm not sure how the manufacturers come up with these numbers.
  3. Yessssss! I guessed right!!! Yeah, that sounds screwed up, and that would definitely pull.
  4. Does anyone know the regulations on MJs? The XJs are limited like crazy! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe some of the rules are: Engine must be of production type (i.e., 4.0L, 2.5L, 2.1L, 2.8L) Tranny must be of production type (i.e., ax-4, ax-5, etc.) maximum 10" of travel in the front suspension maximum 10" of travel in the rear suspension +/- 1" of wheelbase 33" tire maximum engine must be +/- 1" of stock mount location It seems strange to let us compete with such a long wheelbase. I put a 1400 truck and a 1450 truck in the internet finds awhile back.
  5. Hmm, appears to still be drivable.
  6. Is it really that sketchy? I've never seen the consequences of this gone wrong.
  7. According to BFGoodrich, the 35x12.50R15/C A/T or M/T should be mounted on an 8.5 - 11 inch wide rim.
  8. Adjustable control arms?
  9. Oh... I need brake line help for the front. What needs to be changed for 4.75" of lift?
  10. Mmm... Control arms... I bought Rusty's. The welds look satisfactory, but they didn't clean up a spot of spatter which they powdercoated over. Still, the arms are heavy, and I can tell they'll hold up. They go on Wednesday, and so does registration.
  11. It is very nice. I like that the cab isn't cut into where the roll cage enters. But what REALLY interests me, is the new taillights!!!! Beautiful.
  12. For 33", you'll need more than 4", unless you're going to trim the fenders a bit. I would suggest Rubicon Express: http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Products. ... =2D6179554 The kit comes with everything you would need except shocks.
  13. I think the D30/straight axle question might have been cause it says there's no 4wd, and the 2wd had a "straight axle" if that's what it's called. I saw a Toy lifted 18" like the rear is done on that truck. His was trussed, but it still looked scarier than $#!&.
  14. Would you mind PMing me some pics? I'm looking for one, and curious just how well these fit. Don't wanna threadjack.
  15. Tramadol?! Sweet!!! Extra 16 hp!
  16. I've heard the 4.3L is the SBC shortened to 6-cylinders. Any confirmations? Same trans bolt up and such?
  17. According to Fabtech's catalog, there are 3 different disconnects. One for a 4" TJ, one for a 6 or 8" TJ, and one for 4" XJ/MJ. So, for one reason or another, the 4" TJ model is different than the 4" MJ model. That leads me to believe that a 6" TJ model would be different than the nonexistant 6" MJ model.
  18. Lol, thought the donors were the shocks for the tubes.
  19. Those lights are badass! I'm looking into getting a set (not the blue ones though), and the PIAA bulbs for em are only $70! Nice addition, and happy birthday!
  20. Nice! That other guy still has the rear coils for himself. You should check for a part number on the coils to look em up!
  21. Pics? What happened to all the fluid in the shocks when you cut em? What about balancing em?
