  1. Ford... Offensive. And a Mustang? So cliche!
  2. I talked to my insurance company today and they told me that if my truck was totalled, they'd give me what a comparable truck was worth...
  3. :needpics:
  4. Fender differences are about 4 posts down on this: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6475 Different body lines, but not drastically different.
  5. My '86 doesn't have head rests on the bench, so don't think so. I think there are ppl on here that would pay $120 for black door panels!
  6. So case lengths, spline counts, and mounts are the same?
  7. Badger, I think what he's getting at is towards the outside he has more clearance than a conventional slider, which he does. His intentions with his sliders are different than your intentions with yours. Internet arguements are like racing in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
  8. There's a good chunk of cash in that XJ. Def not the best offroad cam, but mmeeaann!!!
  9. Glad everyone's okay and sad to hear about the accident, but looking on the positive side, did you get to strip the rig?
  10. I had thought about going with angle iron before. Let us know how they hold up, as it is quite unconventional!
  11. Incredible.
  12. oops
  13. Me? Cause I have a set of unknown lift coils. I don't know how much they lift, but I know I tried putting them on an XJ with stock control arms and at ride height, the control arms were hitting their mounts on the axle, so they were 4"+. I ended up using my 3" coils with the Energy Suspension spacers.
  14. Which motor did you go with in the KJ? And what happened to the Grand?
  15. 5 posts down is my supply list: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... hp?p=70169 I blew my warranteed motor and they're paying me to put the new motor in, so I'm using that money to do my links in the spring. I wouldn't by a Yota specific link set-up with the frame dimensions being So different.
  16. Lol, good vid. I've jumped many a vehicle, and have gotten aways away from Earth, but not that high. That was 15' ya think?
  17. Funny you should mention that. My MJ does lean at full crank... But that's my caster from 5" of lift and loong lowers (stock uppers).

    Duner

Where'd you pick up your bushwackers from? Just noticed it in your sig and looked at em in your build thread.
  19. Ding ding ding - we have a winner. Same thing happens on Wranglers if you put in a lift and don't address the track bar. Wow! I would have never thought it made that much of a difference! And I haven't checked mine since I got the TB on.
  20. Yes, it is one of the two granny trannies, because it has have a granny first gear (a really low, only slow gear). 7.01 first gear for the SM420 and 6.55 for the SM465.
  21. I've heard of the install due to shortages a few times, and agree with Pat that it is stock. If there was a shortage that caused t-5s to be where AX5s should have been, why wouldn't they put an AX4 where a AX5 should be? Chryco can't get build sheets on '86s cause it was still AMC. Tried for mine, and  over it.
  22. I still would think u-joint operating angle, but don't know for sure. Gas tank for the lean? What else is over there that we can blame it on... Master cylinder, interior stuff. I know solid axle Yotas lean because from the factory, one front spring mount is put up higher than the other to clear the diff. Stock springs are made to compensate for this, but most aftermarket ones are not. Have never taken an eye at my front axle closely enough, but my MJ leans a bit too. I just blame it on the tank.
  23. Heard something about a lottery.
