  1. Jared, you're still Comancheless? Get on it, man! You could trade that XJ in for a Real nice MJ!
  2. The metal disc inside of their cutting wheels kept ripping out on me, so I got my money back on em. Today I tried their sawzall blades and they kept dieing. I haven't had good luck with them lately.
  3. Cole, everytime someone comes to my work to get OD green, I think of your truck. Your MJ needed that color.
  4. tires? what about the tig welder???? $$$$$$$ Psh, pocket change. Have you tried your TIG out yet, Cole?
  5. Front or rear with what sort of BS?
  6. I voted hunter green, because no one ever paints their rig a real green.
  7. And launching a boat/personal water craft is much easier.
  8. The plan sounds good to me, minus the perches deal. I don't understand why there's so much negativity in this thread. Selling your current bumper could definitely make you some coin, and even with the price of steel, building a bumper is pretty dang cheap. Unless the MJ leaves are real saggy, the SOA should be level with 5.5" of front lift, maybe even a little bit high. And finally, if you wheel tight corners in trees, you can kiss your taillights good bye, and replacements, for most of us, are hard to come by. Selling the bed/tailgate/taillights might be a good choice for you. I know alot of people on this board need all 3 of those things, and you'll end up destroying them. Keep on keeping on!
  9. Yeah, the narrow wheel is kind of a wheeling thing for airing down. I don't know much about road use with width. I like my Cragars very much: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku The center caps are sold seperate but make the wheel. As well, that's the best new price I could find on any Soft 8 styled wheels. If you call, you could probably get them with 3.5" BS and 9 or 10" wide if that's what you want.
  10. Stock BS is 5.25". Wheels of the same width with 3.75" BS will put the stock width tire 1.5" out further. And an 8" wide wheel would be good. Go too much wider and when you air way down, you'll start busting beads. I'd go with a 15" diameter for a 33x12.5R15.
  11. Personal opinion, but I really like the black bumper with the black wheels. Of course, I haven't seen it with the chrome one yet.
  12. How do you like the Bilsteins?
  13. Lol! Not that part. Just the locations of the bolts and make sure you take off the gas tank, e-brake, and tail-light ground/taillight wiring.
  14. With the Jeep emblem on, and those running boards off, it oughta look real nice! Do you have the wiring for the lights?
  15. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=899457 Some of those builds are real nice.

    aquariums?

It was Eagle! From the Peace Corps Snake Attack Policy.
  17. What's the advantage of a stand up unit vs a bench top? I really like the Craftsman bench top that we have, and haven't found any real flaws yet.
  18. This should help: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... ed+removal
  19. 1/2" will also cause the axle to dog tail. It's scary $#!&.
  20. Is it like UHMW at all?
  21. I loved my Lincoln till these last two months. I dunno what model it is, but it's 220v, I think the WeldPack175 or something. It did great on everything but sheetmetal because I run such thick wire and it doesn't turn down enough. My only issue is this recent one where my wire speed has become inconsistent and the heat becomes inconsistent. It feels like someone's turning the knobs as I weld.

    aquariums?

I thought that you were the one that was deathly scared of snakes?
  23. Have you had any issues with the shock heat on your tire?
  24. My buddy runs long lowers with new mounts and adjustable uppers that bolt into the stock location. He loves it. Keep in mind your wheeling style with your truck. I know you don't plan on wheeling the 3800 hard, but if this is for a different rig, don't hang anything down that you don't have to.
