  2. yeah you were, you jerk  j/k, no biggie :D
  3. working on your oba, and typing on the 'puter. your a good multi-tasker :D ... ...and you took more snow with you after you cut across my grass
  4. i know i may sound insane, but i wouldn't let mine go for under $6000.
  5. you shouldn't need reservations (i've never made them and i've been there 10 plus times). you can get front tow hooks either from the junkyard or from Motion Offroad http://motionoffroad.com/catalog/index. ... ucts_id=90. for the rear, i have a receiver with a d-ring shackle that i put in my trailer hitch. oh, and i wouldn't recommend using a chain recovery, i always use a strap.
  6. Me and pops, 1 dodge with camper in bed, 1 trailer...1 JEEP :D
  7. haha, i get that all the time as well. people will come up to me asking if Jeep ever made a Comanche, or if its just a custom truck.
  8. i get a few looks when I'm driving mine around. people will come up to me when I'm filling up or something asking about it or just to talk Jeeps. and yes, i participate in the Jeep wave. :D
  9. yeah, there is a pretty big campground at the entrance. everyone that is thinking about going should chime in so we can get a list up and running.
  10. yeah, thats the right address. according to mapquest, its about 615 miles for you chico.
  11. Welcome  Thats a nice truck you have.
  12. or you could go by a different motto...if it doesn't fit, force it. if it breaks, then it needed to be replaced anyways.
  13. nothing  my truck doesn't see salt anymore (got a stupid little car for that) so i shouldn't have to worry about rust anymore.
  14. i did try that, but found that working on one end was easier. one of those things that there are 10 different ways of doing i guess :D they did go on easier than taking them off
  15. i doubt it, but it doesnt hurt to ask.
  16. Coming from the guy with a heated camper... Lead_"just thinking about how cold it REALLY was"_Follow i knew how cold it really was... ...when i got out of my nice warm bed and stepped outside and saw all the ice on top of the tents :teehee:
  17. yeah, they don't just "pop" off. i had to force them off by twisting one end of them. it felt like they were going to snap, but they didn't.
  18. cool pic! i like the sportruck with the black fender flares better :D
  19. yeah, i took mine off when i had it painted.
  20. got mine from the Quadratec catalog. i think they were around $40.
  21. So do you though. :D Ah crap, that means I'm next, doesn't it? i suppose i do. you'll be fine as long as its not really muddy which it usually isn't in the middle of July. my dent in the box was caused because it was rutted and extremely slick and it slide right into a tree. i couldn't even stop it from hitting. oh well, its apart of wheelin'
  22. luckily you have the first dent out of the way already
