  1. chrome all the way!
  2. nope, not bad at all. i need a small car though... yes you do. i just filled my car up yesterday. $36 and it was past "E". Way better than the $68 that my truck got...
  3. i realize that it totally blows that the 3800 is giving you such a hard time, but driving around in a 6.5in lifted 4.0 MJ isnt all that bad :D
  4. just concentrate on the new one so it runs reliably for you. then you can go head first into a full restore on the 3800.
  5. no you don't need to run the model. I'm pretty sure that the layout is the same on all 87-92 MJs. The 86's had different style letters and different engine options. You will need the JEEP letters on the front end, 2 Comanche on the fender, and the engine option on the tailgate.
  6. i've never seen a MJ with a comanche emblem on the tailgate before. Usually on the tailgate it has the emblem for whatever engine it has...
  7. I'm gonna blow off my stash of fireworks on friday. Then on saturday, I'm going to The Cliffs off road park with the ATV for the day. Should be a good weekend.
  8. i never get tired of seeing trucks with bed mounted spares. i've always have and always will like that look. nice job
  9. i've never been a fan of it either. I'd like to keep my MJ as American as possible :USAflag:
  10. pulled apart, oiled it, reinstalled with no leaks moved dizzy one tooth runs like new :clapping:
  11. not putting money into control arms for certain reasons...
  12. i say we get like 20-30 guys and just push our way in till we find it. i don't think they would like that though. too bad its not in WI, i could buy it for $50. :D
  13. Rebuild! What does? all the bushing in my control arms are shot, tie-rod ends are going, need to rebalance the tires, one lower coil bucket is kind of rusting away and it needs to be welded up.
  14. I'm ready! :D even though my front end needs a rebuild, I'm gonna wheel it. 8)
  15. i would do the 4wd swap first. Yes, theoretically a 4wd with open diffs vs. adding a rear locker gets you the same amount of "driving wheels" (2) there is a difference. In 4wd, you have a front wheel getting traction which helps when trying to get over a log or going up a hill or something. By adding a rear locker, just the back 2 will be getting traction which won't do you much good when your front tires are against an obstical like a log or rocks. and btw, i did both and love it! my $.02
  16. Dang! Thats like $30 worth of gas right there
  17. that will be fixed pretty soon :D I hope so, you going to change yokes as well or just changing the seal? I'm thinkin just the seal
  18. oooh it'll be a nice "little" upgrade then? :D its gonna be a long upgrade...
  19. hehe, and when i mean after the badlands i pretty much mean the day after...
  20. yes you can by buying my old stuff off of me... :brows: I'm pretty sure you know what i have planned...
  21. i don't think i can wait 3 more weeks! i just need to put on some new radiator hoses (coming tomorrow), put a new seal on the output of the t-case, get a trailer from my uncle and that is about it. so needless to say, i'll be there. :D
  22. yeah, my paper thin bumper is fixed. i just gotta replace some radiator hoses and a seal in the t-case and i'll be ready to go. although all my bushing are shot in my control arms, but I'm gonna run it anyways cause i got some plans after the badlands...
  23. I got ya beat Wade. I know what's happening on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. :D ...so do I!... ;)
