  1. dude, disconnect your front swaybar next time and you'll really be surprised. :smart: :hijack:
  2. holy hell, lets get some close ups of the suspension!
  3. :needpics: :brows: Hard to get pics when I'm 6' in the Air, in the rig.... I don't think any of the people I was with got pics of the "big hit" But I had a great time all weekend... I had already tweaked the tie rod a little bit on Saturday, so I said "f' It" and hit one big hill a little faster than I should have (about 50)...that's the one that bent the tie rod more, bent the axle tubes and tweaked both my front fenders (just a little). Can anyone tell me what years XJ's had Low vs Hi Pinon and if I'm going to need to change the coil buckets or shock/control arm mounts to get it on my TJ? I have a guy in the club that said he's got a pile of housings, mostly from XJ's that I could take whatever I want for free. Wade i think 99 was when XJ's started getting lp dana 30s. and I'm fairly certain that any XJ front axle will bolt right into a TJ.
  4. question is, did you have fun jumping it?
  5. yeah, we just got about 5" last night. most of it melted today though.
  6. new steering setup
  7. well i went to JeepCoMJ offroad park today.
  8. nice write up. here is the layout and on-rig pics for the JCR OTK
  9. :agree: :rotf:
  10. you need lower control arms with anything 2-3" or higher :chillin:
  11. yes i know about rustys, dealt with him first hand. i was just saying that he has complete mj lifts so he knows what to get if piecing one together.
  12. $10k  looks pretty sweet though
  13. rustys offroad and motion offroad both sell complete MJ lift kits
  14. the blocks won't work on a stock MJ. they will actually lower the rear since the springs are under the axle. you will need new leaf packs or get add a leafs and shackles
  15. lol. that has been the first thing to pack ever since then
  16. thats for the tranny. power firms the shifts up and shifts at a higher rpm. comfort shifts at a lower rpm in hopes of saving fuel. all the newer XJ's were wired to run in power mode.
  17. yeah, i can't wait either to test this thing out. it rides pretty dang good on the road. and it feels so nice not having driveshaft vibrations. and yes roger, we will soon find out
  18. if your gonna run them at the max of 3.5" your gonna probably need LCA's, shocks and maybe longer brake lines.
  19. i don't think i can do it today, have to head to class in a bit. I'm supposed to work tomorrow, but if i don't i will give you a buzz.
  20. sweet. so you're coming over soon to test flex? today would have been a perfect day to do that. this weekend is looking pretty chitty. maybe next weekend.
  21. well its road worthy now. the brakes are kind of weak but still driveable. rear shaft installed extended and rebuilt front shaft some poser pics  (and no i didnt do all the burnouts lol)
