I've had my puppy Reese for just over a year now, the place I got him from said he's German Shepard and part wolf and I've done my research and it seems that some of his characteristics are like a wolf. Great dog and is always by my side, I can never get a picture of him in my truck because he doesn't sit still unless he's sleeping!

A friend of mine knows I'm a jeep fiend and a guy on a job site was also working there and pulled up with this I asked him to check if it had the bronze plaque on the pass side dash but he left the jobsite already. It's an 87 4.0 5spd

1992: Stacy - Clutch Replacement 6/08
Dirteatr717 replied to 92tanMJ's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Nice work! Digging the paint! If you haven't already done this, you can take the spring out of the antenna wire in the pass side kick panel and you'll get better reception  the spring wears out and doesn't make a good connection on both sides and then your antenna is useless -
I guess you can say this trucks been totaled twice now and both times she's come back strong! Eventually ill make it look nice and pretty but for now i want it running and driving 100% I never swapped in the brake booster as its a 99xj one so ill have to find a 96 and hopefully ill have okay working brakes! Just went to get gas and ice cream, it's a bit chilly doing 45 with no windshield hahah

99 Brake Booster Swap Questions!
Dirteatr717 replied to Dirteatr717's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Darn the XJ is long gone, I haven't looked at the differences but my trucks manual also.. -
I searched through 3 pages of stuff and didnt really find out what I exactly needed to know. I got a brake booster and master cylinder from a buddy that was parting out a 99 XJ. What all is entailed to swap it with the old crap in my 89?

Truck looks awesome dude! What else is on the list of things to do? :D

Picked up some goodies and did some work yesterday, got two tan new style 2dr bucket seats and a tan hood from a buddy of Cherokee-chiefs and I. Got a new hub bearing installed and the gas tank patched, rear driveshaft put back in with a new u-joint after i drilled and tapped the yoke. Just to show you how much the cab was bent over I have a before and after pic! doing the 96+ brake booster swap today, mounting the seats and welding some patch pieces over the holes in the floor from putting the seat through the floor when I was bouncing around during the rollover.

Wheel Adapters/spacers
Dirteatr717 replied to dasbulliwagen's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Any brand that's aluminum(which most should be) and anodized should be fine. Don't want the spacers oxidating to your rotors and drums! -
Don't think ill have to chop the roof off :D got it mostly straightend out thanks to Cherokee-chief and his magical hammer skills. After putting a come along against a tree and a piece of 2x3 against the b pillar with some chain and some jumping on the opposite side it pulled most of the roof over, both doors open and close fine and hopefully a new windshield fits, ill find out soon enough! Thanks again Brett :)

Yeah full cluster and 87-90 for a 4cyl ax4(manual) I don't care about color or mileage as most of my interior is either dark blue or tan and the cluster I have now that stopped working has 204,xxx miles lol anything will do

All my friends and family own boats and my dads too busy to rebuild our 22' grady white overnighter so we just use everyone elses  I live 5 minutes from the Great south bay and 10 mins from the Atlantic ocean and 15 mins from the long island sound. I prefer the bay and ocean 8)

Took mostly everything apart that I needed to and took the windshield out by myself and didnt cut myself and bleed to death, pretty happy about that but I'm still jobless because of my shoulder injury and once I do get a job ill be able to get some jeep parts so I can move this pile out of my driveway and bring it to my buddies shop and build a cage for it. I don't know if I want to chop it all off at the bottom of the a pillar and get new sheet metal from a Cherokee and start fresh (which seems like the best option) or work with what I got and hope a new windshield fits in there kinda sorta and then slap a cage on it and finally drive it again.... Feedback anyone? here's my buddies XJ I helped build a few weeks back, 98 cherokar sitting on 79 d60 front, custom 3 link front, 01 FFd60 rear stretched about 2'' back on 37" mtrs. And below is a guy that lives a town over sitting on 40" pitbulls... Ive always liked his cage and front end.
