  1. Whenever we get around to picking a date, I'll have to leave NY about a week before that, while I'm heading out west I might as well bring basically everything from fishing poles to my longboard and maybe my snowboard and make a stop at a glacier in CO hahah For some it's just a trip to Moab, for me and a couple buddies it's a cross country roadtrip exploring and being complete tourists until we arrive at Moab! Can you tell I'm excited?
  2. you won't hate them when you can see what's ahead of you on the road ! You can get them in pure white which is 4,500 Kelvin. Mine are 5,000K so they have a little blue mixed in. I got mine from DDM tuning online but you can get them many other places just make sure you get a warranty. I need a new seat too :(
  3. Good stuff dude! Just gotta deal with the little things and remember the big picture, MOAB hahahahahah
  4. Haven't check your thread in awhile, diggin the liberty light bar and bumper! have you looked into HIDs? I LOVE mine :)
  5. Lmao gotta love forza!
  6. Good stuff! Needs more stuff painted mixed colors, it'll flow better hahah
  7. Thanks John! I've got plenty of gas that I waited forever to get hahah and Dan I already have my route planned out and where I'd like to stop and be a total tourist haha
  8. Long Island is actually a glacial sand deposit, the barrier islands such as Jones Island and Fire Island were dredged and made larger by Robert Moses in the 1920s and then hand planted sea grass with horizontal roots to keep the sand dunes from blowing away in the wind. They lasted over 90 years without getting breached! Parts of the mainland were under 12 feet of water due to the storm surge..... Just to give you an aspect of how much erosion took place. People will live anywhere and everywhere. Like Hawaii for instance, who would be crazy enough to live on the largest acapellago in the world? You could ask the same question to the people of San Francisco who live only a few miles from one of the larger fault lines in the northern hemisphere....
  9. Count me in! I've already started flipping couches for loose change lol
  10. Supposed to get hit with another storm Wednesday... Fire island is gone and this is what's left of ocean parkway! The dunes were at least 100 yards past the road before the storm. There were waves over 45' recorded breaking over the barrier islands... The worst things happening now are the gas crisis, I've waited over 2.5 hours in line to get gas and people stealing stuff from abandoned cars and houses and electrical house fires from the power company turning power back on in neighborhoods.... It's been a crazy week to say the least
  11. I've seemed to have made a tent with my shorts... Holy crap it's beautiful!!!! Love it dude!
  12. Here's a list of things I need or need to fix! Brown dog poly motor mounts Full tuneup Windshield, it's been cracke pretty bad dice my accident :/ Master cylinder/brake booster New exhaust manifold, found a few cracks :( CB ground And the list of things I want hahah Ballistic fab XJ/TJ coil bucket mounts Ruff stuff 7/8 hiems for wonton steering 5.13s for both axles Spool for the 60 and still can't decide what locker I'd like for the 44 37/12.5/16.5 old style MT/R with Kevlar Ballistic beadlocks Ruffstuff D60 diff cover Need to find out where to order the 1310-1350 for the rear axle yoke and the 1310-1330 for the front 44. SHEESH I need another job...
  13. I don't know anyone personally but I could find out some prices from people my friends know. I've heard of one guy doing gears for 250 an axle.
  14. Lots of sweet new parts! If I remember you're putting 35s on this bad boy? Def gunna need to cut the fenders more, my 33s eat my fenders and they're cut higher than that. I've known John for a couple years now and we've exchanged a few parts lol
  15. Why thank you sir! Depending on how heavy my foot is, I get 16ish around town and as much as 20 highway with the cap on. That's with 3.07s and 33s hahah
  16. Thanks guys!!!! I appreciate all the kind words! I'm hanging in there, it's almost like a war zone in some towns and I can't believe what I'm seeing in some places. As for Moab it's happening! And of course I'm happy I'm driving a Comanche :)
  17. How the heck did I miss this build thread?!?!? Awesome setup and love the console!
  18. Very good info! I'm guessing you could mix n match parts when doing a 4:1 swap as well?
  19. Picked up a 3/4 ton 44 today for $100 bucks!!!! Came with everything except calipers, I've been reading on pirate4x4 that you can put JK 44 gears in them and they have a 8.9" ring gear which is the same size as a dana60 ring gear! I think 5.13s and 37/38s will work well for my driving style. As for the 45' boat pic I'll see if my friend can send one to me.
  20. Basically long island is half flooded and the other half has trees down at every house, my friend has a 45' boat in his neighbors swimming pool that's in the backyard...... My other friend lost everything, his house and truck are now in the bay. Because of all the flooding people's oils tanks started floating Out of the ground and ripping lines apart so there's oil spills and sewage plants are overflowing into the bay so the entire south shore can't get eletricity or fresh water. There's a foot of muddy poop on some blocks.... NYC is beyond flooded and the bridges to long island are mostly closed so we can't get any gas/ food shipped in, I've seen national guard hummers and choppers everywhere since Monday and even a few of their 6x6 land sea vehicles... I also saw pictures of people surfing the waves of lake Michigan! I'll get you guys some pics later today if I'm even allowed near the south shore.
  21. thanks for kind words! Both of us are safe! Ive been putting her to work with loads of cut up trees and pulling logs. As for some of my friends, I cannot say the same. Some lost their houses and there's nothing left of them. Cherokee_chief has a 45' boat in his neighbors swimming pool!!! As for the welds I'm using .30 flux wire and had the little Lincoln on a 1.5 wire peed and cranked the heat to E which is the highest setting
  22. The link works for me? A lot of the Local wheeling we do around here is all small dirt hills with barely any rocks but theyre kind of steep so the bed catches or just under the gastank touches. The tires aren't so great in sand as they just dig in and you sink, most of this island is made up of sand too haha but for rocks they work awesome!
  23. He has a longbed 35s Beadlocks and a 3 link and he's automatic with 3.55s, I'm a shortbed on 33s radius arms and stick with 3.07s lol we basically go the same places, although he gets hungup underneath sometimes because of the wheelbase. And for the tires I LOVE them, I'm getting them in 37/12.5/16.5 here http://www.militaryoffroadtires.net/product-p/t-37125165dw.htm
  24. All inland to boat yards or in peoples driveways! I went kayaking earlier to my cousins house to help move all his furniture to his second floor hahah . Just heard on the radio that 450k are without power on just my Island and 94 mph wind gusts and the sea water level is 22 ft above normal and still rising!
