  1. Nice van, take it off any sweet jumps? :D
  2. finally got the MJ up and going again, with the NV3550. It was a stright bolt-in procedure except for some minor trimming on the trans tunnel for the shift tower. Bought the stainless braided clutch line and fittings from advance adapters, bolted up to my existing clutch master cylinder, crossmember didnt need any mods, my clutch and flywheel are from a 98 TJ with an AX15 and everything is working fine. Got a B&M short throw shifter and love it! Been driving around and shifting gears this week and enjoying it! Need to trim a litttle more for some tire clearence. nice to be in the MJ again...
  3. KM2s here. Nice and quiet and good ride. I know a couple people that have had the Goodyear Duratracs and the BFGs and none liked the Duratracs compared to the KM2s... But I have heard good things about the MTRs with Kevlar...
  4. what lb rating are those?
  5. sweet :chillin:
  6. now youre going to forget to lock the hubs when you go wheeling!
  7. Dang! My Dad in Temple said he got like half an inch!
  8. did you just get some Yukons or some other kind of alloys?
  9. cut off what rubs
  10. I actually ordered a tap handle earlier this week for a shift handle. Its a Shiner Hefewiezen handle, 12". Its sitting in my PO box right now waiting to be picked up...
  11. I parked mine under a tree and let some birds crap all over my dented and faded body panels. The bird crap covers some of that up.
  12. You can pull it off for that amount. The only thing extra I bought besides my stroker long block (renix) was some 24lb injectors and those were like $200. Do it, the extra power made a huge difference in my jeep, one of the best things I've done.
  13. and to think of it, I have 15x10s now with 3.75" of BS with 33X12.50s, but I don't have a straight on pic to show how much sticks out.
  14. I ran 3.75" of BS when I had 35s, cleared great. that was an 8" wide wheel...
  15. Do you have an extra $1K to donate to the project? :thwak: They've always been made by RCV, to Longfield's design. Willy Hey you asked for suggestions, just trying to help out!!!! Just go to 4WP and pick them up next time your there! :dunno: yeah I wouldnt them either!!!!
  16. RCV shafts, the ones that used to be made by Longfield. :D
  17. That tie rod is awesome! But seriusly, cool truck. I'd just sell the 39s and put some 35s or even 37s on there. Unless its just for street/ mild wheeling, it'd be alot of work to make it function correctly with the current 39s.
  18. Thanks, I got a slave cylinder and I was sitting in the garage last night trying to figure out how to hook it up to what I have to no avail. I have a brand new clutch from my AX15 and I'm just trying to figure out if I need one for a 3550 or not. And then also, are there some little clips that hold the shift fork in the bell housing? Mine has nothing, just the little pivot ball and the fork... thanks for any help!
  19. I used a 2wd MJ main, and the rest XJ leaves (minus the XJ main) and it sits lower than the front on mine with 4" Rough Country coils.
  20. lol, I'd be making the 8 hour one way drive if it was for a short bed!!!! :fs1: I'm glad another CC member got it!
  21. if you got the Jeep itch, scratch it! make it feel good!!!!
  22. I had an internal slave before, so now going to an external set up, do I have to swap clutch master cylinders? anything else you run into swapping to the 3550? I don't have a shifter for it and the on the AX15 won't fit, different bolt pattern.
