I have two reservoir and they both have the duel motors on them. I just ran a hose and tee them together.

OK cleaned up the wires and scrubbed the prongs on the motors. The pressure is still the same. Can anyone let me know how to take the motors off, I tried but was worrying about breaking them. I will do that tomorrow.

I have not. I will get out the electronic cleaner and the wire brush and see if that helps.

I am having a problem with the pressure that come out of the nozzles. What I have done already is take all the lines off and blew air through each of them individually. All have air coming out them. Took the nozzles off and hit them with air/clean them and got air flow through them. I took the reservoir off and cleaned it out. I put everything back together and I still get low pressure out of them. Driver side gets some fluid out but it hits the low part of the windshield, but passenger side will not even hit the windshield. Could my motors be going out? Any help with this.

Well i cut the wire right at the base of the clip. I cut away at the plastic hoping that there will be enough to to work with but there was not. But I did try to use the one that I did have.

I am looking for just the wire for the cruise control. It is the wire that runs down the steering column and usually flat and orange in color. I cut mine off by accident and want to splice it back together.

Re new one came from my parts XJ that I swapped over to my mj. I did not bench test it but I can take it off and do that today once I get home. What's it is doing is when I turn left it feels like its already maxed out. I can turn the wheel left maybe a inch on the wheel before it is locked out.

Onto the next problem. I replace my steering column, gear box and upgraded the sway bar to the zj. Took it out for a test drive and I can turn right without any problems but can't turn left. Is this more of a linkage problem or gear box not being centered problem.

Thank you so much. This was my problem and I would have not even figured this out without your help.

There is a write up in the tech section on how to convert you bench seat brackets.

I check the back of the unit and all was good. I also swapped in a different one and same thing. Also I swapped everything from a donor vehicle. It was working at the time of the swap. Here is what i found out from messing with it this afternoon. I can hear it changing when you switch from ac to vent to heat to defrost. On heat and defrost it will blow in all the settings. I can go from one to four and it will change. When I switch it to vent the lever will drop down. I get air coming out of the vents but barley. So any ideals?

I just put a entire ac into my Comanche. I removed the dash swapped out the HAVC boxes. Now my problem is when I start the truck my air will only blow out of the floor. I checked every line in the engine bay with a vacuum gauge and all hold vacuum. I used my cheorkee as a reference to make sure all the lines are ran correctly. Also made sure the check valves are working and they are. I looked under the dash just to make sure that none of the air lines popped off and all looks good. Just trying to figure this out on what it could be before I boot the dash completely back in.

How do I replace my heater core?

Search google and you will find a write up on how to remove your dash and the HAVC box. Most of the removal is easy. The hardest part for me was the Philips head screws next to the windshield. They are a mother to get out. But once they are out you are good. -
Why not just get your flywheel resurfaced? Any machine shop can do it?

Is this guy a junkyard or a guy that has a couple of jeeps sitting in his yard?

Are the manual and auto different? I have a 87 manual that has been pull from my MJ

I have a engine harness from my 87 manual. I don't know if this will work but let me know.

About to remove my trans also. What size bolt do I need to purchase? -
If your on Facebook look for a group call Xj/Mj. They have comanche for sale all the time on there.
-
You're using the 91 transfer case also? Yes I am. Going to pull everything as one piece then break it down once it it out. Will I be okay using the 91 case?

I also have a squeal and when I put water on the belt it stops. So does that mean either I need a new belt or I need to check and see if it is tight enough.

On the 91 cherokee I bought it has a 89 Comanche fuel tank. It works but at full tanks it reads half and empty it reads well below empty. So is this because of the reversed polarity?

I am also about to do this swap also and since this thread is already started I thought I would just jump in and ask my questions and make sure I got what I need to do this. I have a 87 Ba10 4.0 4x4 and I have a 91 Ax15 4.0 4x4. The question I have on the flywheel do I need to 87 or the 91? I am also swapping in the motor and doing the curiser54 tips on the Renix to HO swap. I also just plan to pull out the drive train as one unit and not plan on separating them. Since the motor is out I will also be swapping the motor mounts. Anything else I should know?

I have a 87 Comanche with a Renix ba10. I just picked up a 91 Cherokee with a HO ax15. Both are 4x4. What I want to do I swap out the motor, trans, and tcase and put it in the Comanche. Can I also just swap out the wiring harnesses and be good to go or is there more involved that I'm not aware of.
