  1. Thanks for the info and I will be searching Ebay for one. Also the old owner drill out the rivets and place bolts in the holes all ready, so I am guessing that he tried to repair it at one point.
  2. Ok did a search and couldn't find the answer. My passenger side window regulator is stripped, as when I try to roll it up it does nothing. I can hear the gears grinding against each other. So much question is can I rebuild the one I have in there? If not does it matter if I get the front passenger or rear passenger side from a cherokee? Also does the year matter on which regulator I get?
  3. There is no saving that truck. It is too far gone.
  4. Thanks for the info. I will check for the wires to see if they are still on the truck. For the most part I think it runs all right except the stalling issue that I posted a different thread for.
  5. The hose is still in useable condition and where it enters the air box it still there.
  6. any way you could snap me a pic of said vacuum lines, as that would help me out.
  7. Ok the in this picture the hose that is going into the block. The hose is attach to the end of the air filter and in the pic it is attach to the engine. I am wondering do I need it and if I get rid of it do I need to plug the hole or what do I do with it? This pic is on the driver side block. It is coming off the headers and as you can see one is still intact and the other is broken off. Do i need to repair the broken one and if I do what is it that I need to repair.
  8. Ok I think that it might be me slave cylinder on the transmission that might need bleeded. I haven't tried to bleed it yet but if any one else has any thoughts just let me know.
  9. Yes when I push the clutch pedal to the floor to go shift that when it dies. It will also die when I hold the clutch down while In neutral.
  10. OK I have a 87, inline 6, 5 on the floor. I searched and couldn't find a answer and hope that someone can help me out as this has me stumped. When I go to engage my clutch (push the pedal to the floor) the Comanche dies. It will just spudder and die out. I cleaned my idle air control valve out with some throttle body cleaner and I put new plugs in. The wires looked good but I can change them if need be. Any thing else that I can try or do to figure out the problem? I do not think I have a vacuum leak but I could have looked passed something very easily and not known it.
  11. Well I have been searching for a Comanche for some time and finally found one that I want and it the budget. It is a 1987 sport truck, inline 6 with five on the floor and 4x4. Well here she is. The seat is in excellent condition and I do have the door panels for both doors. The tail gate does need a left side bracket and I don't even know where to begin to look for that. Other then that the body is decent. I listen to the every one advice and pulled the carpet and this is what I found This was my first clue about the problem with the rust. Goes through to the fender. That is the weather guard. So i took a wire brush to it and got most of it gone. I did not take a pic of that and then spray it with rust converter. Now I am on my way to home depot to pick up some supplies for it. More to come
