  1. These are some of the parts. t-case, front retainer bearing, new slave, master, bell housing, and cross member. I was going to go your route and try to piece everything together. Your best bet would to find a donor and pull it all off one jeep bc this will nickel and dime you to death.
  2. What makes them rare if you don't mind sharing.
  3. No the xj brackets will not bolt in. They make if you can find them brackets that will swap out with the xj brackets. If you can not find them there is a write up on how to make you bench seat brackets bolt up.
  4. I guess we have different meanings of what he thinks surface rust is. Cool truck though
  5. I also used them but only once. For the comanche I went with the advance auto and used the 40 off of a 100 with free shipping and got it at the same price. So if mines does take a crap then it's a short trip to the store to get it replace without questions being asked versus fighting with a company that could care less.
  6. Care to explain what it takes to get that quality?
  7. I got to ask and it is up to you if you want to say but what did you give for the truck? Also as other said its your truck do as you please. Yes you own a very nice truck use it for what you planned to use it for.
  8. I just did the 746 tonight and it started up easier and idle a hell of a lot better then before.
  9. I was about to post about this over priced 2wd comanche. Maybe if he gets it down to say 3k he might move it. Yes it a nice truck but not at that price.
  10. I have done #27 and don't let it scare you. Pretty straight forward. Disconnect each side and cut one wire from each side at a time. Solider and heat shrink it. Maybe a hour tops.
  11. I like the truck and to me that's a great price. But does anyone know what jeep those seats came out of?
  12. Hey I got one in used perfect condition. If no one else claim it all ready I can send pics and we can get this deal done. Let me know
  13. Yes I did, and it seemed to help just a little bit, but did not cure my problem. I took a shot in the dark and bought it just to eliminate that part as the problem. As of right now the problem is fixed. Far as I know it could be orginal to the jeep.
  14. OK I am just updating this thread as I found the problem and I hate reading threads that match my problem but there was never a answer. I did a search on here with just the word stall and read that the common problem was either the IAC or the TPS. So I went and bought the Idle air control sensor and install it. As of right now it has solved my problem and the truck does not stall out. I took it around the block and ran like it should. So hope this helps someone else.
  15. I tried to get it to slide over but it doesn't seeme to fit. On the gauges that came with the truck, the cable slides over and fits like it should but when I try it with the gauges in the picture it will not fit. To me it needs just a hair more and it will fit, but it seems that it is just a tad longer. ( I am talking about the male piece that the cable slides into). So i don't know what to do.
  16. I have bought the years 1987 and 1990 speedometer and neither of them fit the back part. I am just trying to figure out what year this is so I can purchase the correct cable. I tried google the part numbers and got nothing. The problem I keep having is that the plastic piece will not slide over. It seems like the plastic piece is not long enough.
  17. 2k maybe 2500. But then again that what I would pay.
  18. Will the oem factory push bumper from a 96 cherokee fit on the comanche? If it does is it worth the $50 he is asking?
  19. Did the grounds already and part number is from autozone PS133
  20. Allready have done that. Temp and oil sensors. The temp works with any problem but I can not get the oil to work correctly.
  21. Ok I trying to do the gauge swap to a full cluster from the dummy lights. My problem is that the plastic connector piece will not fit the new gauges. I do not know what make or model they were from. The piece fits over the metal picec but will not lock down. Do I need to buy a new speedometer cable? Also one other problem. When I hooked up the gauges the oil pressure maxed out. I did the go/no go test and when I hook a ground into the end, the guague came back some but did not zero out. Does this mean I have a short somewhere in the wire? If I do have a short, can I just cut the old wire off and run new wire?
  22. I don't know what to think other then he destroyed a good truck. Thoughts? http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/snw/4661526563.html
  23. Are you asking if I have new lines or existing lines on the truck? I have the existing lines on the truck but I do not have any brand new lines bought
