  1. Hey, did you ever have a problem with your AX-4 1st gear as in acting like a L instead of a 1st?
  2. Yes but do you know how long it took Gary to blow up his D35? It took a good beating. Guess it's hit or miss for some or an insane amount of luck. [emoji28]

  5. Just ask youself a few questions. Is it comfortable for you space wise? Does it run and drive? Does it get you where you want to go? And most importantly, Did you buy it for you or for the other forum members? Of you answered For You, then you chose the right awnser. Its yours, you bought it, you pay for it. Once the other guys start paying your car payments or insurance, only then can they have an opinion about it.

  11. That's a little high, but not too bad if already pulled. Average price of axle assemblies down here is 150-175.
  12. TOYOTA: Taking Out Yesterday's Old Technology Again. Work is getting me a 2016 Tacoma extended cab to replace my Ford Ranger. As much driving as I do, 320-340 on a full tank (16gal) I hope this truck gets the same.

  20. There is a nut that retains the 5/R gear that is known to fail much like the 5th gear retainer on the AX-5. Good news is there is an improved retainer you can get for it. Other than that, its a good transmission.
