  1. Is that for a used set?
  2. Fitting 33s depends how you use your truck and how much trimming you want to do. If you don't care about flex you can do it with as little as 3" but if you want flex you want to be 5"to6+" You also know your gonna have to run wheel spacers with the 8.8" axle, as for perches it would be best to get a drive train in there so you can see where your at and set it up correctly.
  3. That might work if the person at the DEQ station is a cat lover  I thought about running it through and seeing if they notice, its free if I fail in OR. I ran my chevy luv through with a 231 Buick in it and no cats and they didn't even check.
  4. DEQ sucks, the MJs tags are about up and I'm not looking forward to it. I currently don't have a cat on it so I will have to put one on it soon.
  5. The AA adapter uses your bellhousing with the AX15, other then making some bushings I don't see why it wouldn't work with a 3.4l. Do you by chance still have the dakota bellhousing? I would be interested.
  6. My XJ failed DEQ this last time,I put an o2 sensor in and it passed with flying colors. Took under 5 minutes and cost about $50 I haven't taken a vehicle to a shop since I was 16.
  7. I've been running stock shocks on my XJ with a 3" lift with no issues. I have new shocks for it,just haven't found the motivation to put them on.
  8. DSM = diamond star motors. It was a mitsubishi/chrysler joint effort, cars like the Mitsubishi eclipse,Eagle talon, and Plymouth laser for example were part of DSM
  9. Seems like a lot of money, sounds like a basicaly stock truck with a lift and tires. The truck better be super clean, you could build that truck for a lot less.
  10. Why not just get a piece of hose from the parts store? I've bought things for vehicles at the hardware store but usually when I'm fabricating something.
  11. I could care less that its posted here but Jeepco has a point,in the meet and greet section below the regions there is a space just for this.
  12. I usually just do the NAXJA stuff, alot more people and alot more meets and wheeling trips. A lot of CC members from my area do the same.
  13. viewforum.php?f=8 Just go to your region and set one up.
  14. Its called a stub shaft, just make sure you get one that uses the correct size u joint you probably have the 260 joints. You might also try to find an XJ in the junk yard they are the same, you could also try to find a set of later or ABS axle shafts so you can get the 297 u joints
  15. I've been running 15w/40 Delo in both my Jeeps
  16. Looks like your getting all the boring maintenance caught up,once that's all done you can start on the fun projects.

    91 Wrangler

Pretty much the same stuff you look for in an MJ,the drivetrain will be about the same except for leaf springs on the D30. You might look for cracks in the tub, usually the worst around the seat bolts.
  18. Spacers will make the tires rub the flairs, you need to adj the steering stops out so the tires can't rub.
  19. You should do some searching,I found a few threads on some vette forums where they where discussing the problem
  20. Looks like a lot of guys are saying a weak battery or bad connection at the battery could cause this.
  21. A lot depends on if you want to cut,you can get 33s on a stock truck if you cut enough. You can squeeze 31s on stock but they will fit perfect with a 3" lift.

    WTB AX15 parts

This isn't looking too promising, nobody has a junk ax15 laying around?
  23. As long as both are 4.0l's it should work. Only issue is the transfer case is clocked a little different but guys have still made it work. you should add more info when you ask a question it will help people answer,I would bet that your 89 comanche is setup quite different compared to my 89 comanche.
